“Quiet - Non-Party Hotel”

Sol Barbacan Apartamentos is a super family oriented hotel. You won't find the party goers here! The room had a super kitchenette, living room, bedroom, small bathroom with a shower and a large terrace with lounge chairs and a table. Everything was clean. We loved staying here. The hotel staff is top. We had a small clog in the shower - reported it to the front desk and within a hour or so the maintenance guy was there to fix it (along with a security guy). Need to know something? - ask the front desk and he will help you. The clerk at the in-hotel store was super nice as well. The food - excellent. The buffet area was well organized, clean and full. The waiters were quick, responsive and super polite. Negatives - the whirl pool is not warm enough. A few idiots still reserve lounge chairs by the pool - even though it is forbidden!

Getting there
The hotel does not have shuttle. Expect to to take a taxi to and from the hotel - we paid 35 euro to the hotel and 40 euro to the airport.
Getting around
The hotel does not have shuttle. Expect to walk, we did everyday to and from the beach, downtown, and to the scuba shop.
Dining
Hard Rock Cafe restaurant is closed! Ho*oters was good - but it's a long walk to get there - unless you are already at the beach.
