This was the perfect relaxing holiday that my family needed. The villa was spacious and had everything we needed. All of the staff were really pleasant except from the bar woman who was rude to us and had an attitude on numerous occasions. Which lead to me not going to the bar because it was a negative experience. The pool was amazing and the food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Thank you

I loved our stay here. The resort is really well kept. The staff are very helpful. The bungalows are spotless. Most comfy bed ever (and I've slept in a lot)! Very nice feeling to whole resort.

A nice stay
The hotel itself is a bit run down but it didn’t effect our stay at all. We stayed bed and breakfast and it was ok. They have someone making fresh omelettes to order so we ate that every single day. We never had lunch or dinner but based on the breakfast I wouldn’t choose to have all inclusive. The pool area is nice and well maintained. One of the smaller pools to the side was heated so was bearable in the winter. The gym is terrible, utterly terrible. They have 2 cross trainers that don’t work, a treadmill that needs some oil and only weights up to 10kg. Oh and the floor of the gym was carpet which was gross. The cleaners came every day and did a great job in the rooms and we got fresh towels daily. We didn’t have a kitchen in ours but asked for a kettle from reception which was no problem.

Lovely place, spotlessly clean, staff very friendly, good food and drinks. Really pretty location nesr golf club, bit out of town bus free buses to beach or playa de ingles.

Small tranquil resort, friendly staff . Flat surroundings making it very easy for older people to be mobile. The food and restaurant was great. Free mini bus to 2 different seaside resorts, 20mins walk to the botanical gardens (free), thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The apartment was clean and the cleaning staff did a really good job each day. We got it at a very good discount so it was very good for the price. Only had breakfast included and it was pretty good, the cook did a pancake, sandwich, omelet or fried egg on demand. Not good for vegans or vegetarians though. We felt a bit in the middle of nowhere but there was a free bus ride to Maspalomas beach every day which was really good.

Nice and friendly staff, nice pool for relaxing, big rooms, a little bit to far from the beach (around 30-35 min walk) but they have free bus to the beach (5 min driving)......aaaaaand very nice sangria ;))

a comfortable hotel arranged a a series of small bungalows. good pool and the shuttle bus to beach and town works well or by taxi for 4€.buffet breakfast good. other meals ok but not brilliant but excellent restaurants in maspalonas . recommended but stick to b&b.

First visit to Gran Canaria.
First visit to Gran Caneria. Complex was very good, lovely pool area and loads of sun beds. Staff were lovely and no issues with B/B and all inclusive. Very relaxing only issue was you needed to get a taxi if you went out of the complex. They were easy to get and about €4 most local trips.

Clean, quiet place to relax
Perfect for families and people who want to relax and enjoy the sun. Very clean faclities and very friendly and helpful staff. Only 10minutes away from the beach however with three pools and comfy beds and sun loungers to relax on there is no need to leave everyday.

Overall disappointed even for our bed and breakfast selection and not full board. Staff helpful. Never stayed in a 4 Star (according to posters in reception) hotel where two beds pushed together with separate mattress's and sheets. Plastic underlays on beds and beds rubbing together when a person moved resulting in creaking etc. Notice in reception said no leaving towels to book chairs. In week we spent there,even on getting up early for breakfast,we were unable even once to find an unbooked Pool seat/bed. Limited transport to town/beaches and no evening returns. No facilities in the rooms to prepare hot drink. Entrance door lock needed repair and whole room needing updated. Refrigerator unbalanced.

The description of this hotel is not accurate at all. There in no Wifi in this hotel. They bring you a stupid hotspot that doesn't really work. I had tons of problems with the power in the hotel going out every hour or so. I told them the circuit breaker is clearly bad. They never fixed this problem. I stayed for 7 days only because I pre paid. Will never use Hotels.com again because of this. What mess. I was staying at this hotel because it was close to the local hospital that I had stayed in after a bout of pneumonia 7 & was un able to fly. I was promised a working gym in the hotel but the only machine that was not a bike or treadmill was out of service... This place would be fine if you are an older person not expecting these features. I'm not happy because I was promised serviced that did not exist.

Showers were hot and then cold. Excellent reception staff, bar staff were moody and their English weren't very good, they were very busy and can do with more staff.  Food and drinks were expensive in our opinion as we were bed and breakfast only.  Breakfast was ok not amazing but did the job. Not many options for vegetarians.  Room was excellent and the maids were brilliant. Lovely spacious room with all the required facilities working.  We sat outside our bungalow with deck chairs rather than by the pool which was a win win win.  Nearest Supermarket is 10 mins away. Taxi service was really good by the time you walk out it had arrived, reception staff were always willing to call for 1. Pool was freezing but nice and refreshing. Little pool was nice and warm as it was heated. You can request for a picnic if your flight back is before breakfast. It was around 25 degrees and we had a beautiful time, We would definitely return to this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Stayed with my partner in mid August.Having read previous reviews we were curious what it will be like.The room was lovely and clean.The swimming pool was nice.I think some people like moan for the sake of it. The only thing we didnt like was they had a cocktail from a machine and we expected them to make the drinks because they weren't nice at all. Restaurant staff were nice,food was ok,bar staff rushed off their feet and too busy to be very polite.Different countries have different standards though.

place for everything
Good, clean, relaxed and well located for the beach, upmarket shops/restaurants of meloneros, maspalomas beach and party place of playa des ingles. Throw in golf too if you like that and a lovely pool and bungalows.

Perfectly adequate
A pleasant break from the UK winter and the weather made it a great holiday rather than the hotel which was perfectly adequate rather being outstanding. Major negatives (1) poor quality food although we weren't all inclusive and ate out most days and (2) the pool was always freezing. For a cheap family getaway then it hit the spot but no more than that.

We could have been given a bit more info when we checked in rather than keep going back and asking questions. There was a wide variety of food. Some of it could have been warmer. It is a 30 minute walk to the beach but worth it. Many restaurants are to be found in the beach area.

Jarido Dorido Hotel in Maspalomas
The bungalow (standard suite at Avenida Touroperador Tjaereborg 6) gave me a home-away-from-home feeling! Spacious sitting area with open connection to twin bed area complete with built-in wardrobe with sliding door. Generous bathroom comprising toilet, shower and bath tub. All indoor areas clean and tidy! Quiet neighbourhood. Hotel restaurant shuts early, though -- 21:00hrs!

The hotel was very basic & not a 4 star as stated on the website & the hotel does not even supply you with tea/coffee making facilities!! The food was very disappointing & had no choice for vegetarians. Only up side of the hotel was a handful of the staff who were friendly & courteous apart from that it was a bad experience & definetley would never return or recommend to anybody!!

Great hotel if you largely wish to stay in it by the pool
Hotel itself was great. I didn't quite realise how far it was from the ocean/beach (25 mins walk) - but that may be because I never been in Maspalomas before so I didnt quite have the lie of the land. If you wish to stay by the pool beneath the palm trees and read your book while getting some sun in a civilised environment - this is the hotel to do it.

Bel endroit avec ses petits bungalows autour de la piscine. On est pas entassés et la terrasse privative est un plus. Surtout lorsque l'on voit les horribles barraques a touristes ailleurs! Petit déjeûné buffet varié. Personnel aimable
