“Will certainly choose again”

I would certainly recommend the Jardin Dorado to anyone staying in the Maspolomas area. The bunglaows are lovely and have a really nice personal patio area. The swimming pool is beautiful with a slightly heated pool. Nice pool bar too.

“Already recommending it to all my family & friends”

Bungalows Jardin Darado,completely met its brief for our break this Easter. We wanted a cheap holiday break for two somewhere hot, self catering, but within easy reach of nightlife. It appealed to me as it is set in a golf course and therefore guaranteed the area wouldn't have towering hotel and apartment blocks. We chose self catering as we are the kind of people who don't want to be told when to get up or what time we can eat - our holidays are for chilling out and forgetting to pack a watch. A supermarket with fresh rolls, milk and all the essentials is on site with others within easy walking distance so breakfast and lunch was always on the terrace of our bungalow when we were on site. It is less than 10 mins from the restaurants and bars etc of Maspalomas with cabs passing the site frequently so it's never a problem to get in or out. You can get a bus anywhere but we either walked or for a few euros a cab was our choice of transport in the evenings heading home after a few Honey Rums (highly recommended. Perfect for just getting away from it all - its not five star and doesn't claim to be but the rooms were clean and tidy, the grounds well kept the pool clean and well mantained and in my opinion excellent value for money. Already booking to go back with friends this time next year.

“Quite impressed”

The complex can be hard to find if you are travelling by hired car so get specific directions. A tip; follow he Maspalomas Golf Centre signs. The 115 or so bungalows are laid out in 3 concentric rings with the reception, pool, amusements and a frankly uninteresting pool bar in the middle. The reception area has a large television and provides fast internet access for 1 Euro per 15 minutes. There is a fenced and lit parking area adjacent to the complex. The bungalows consist of an air conditioned sitting room with kitchenette/breakfast bar and precisely 3 sets of cutlery crockery, a fair sized bedroom and a bathroom. The bungalows are semi-detached with grassed areas and hedges surrounding them. There is a small patio area at the front which is ideal for sunbathing and taking breakfast and an enclosed area at the back for drying washing. The clientele is predominantly German and Dutch but they were invariably polite and we saw no disputes over towels on sunloungers. The beach is a good 45 minute walk away but taxis and buses are plentiful. There are a dozen or so restaurants at the Faro 2 shopping complex which is a 10 minute walk away. We tried them all and found the standard both in food and service to be high. There is a restaurant in the complex itself but it is very restricted, pizzas etc. The bungalows are cleaned daily except for Thu. and Sun. and bedding is changed on Mondays. The standard of cleaning is very high.

“Had A Good Time”

Overall stay at the hotel was good. Only downside was there were no english speaking channels on the television.With the capability of satellites and cable this was the only disappointment that we had.

“Great Place to Stay”

Great place to stay. Clean and tidy rooms, surroundings and pool area. The bugalows are a bit dated but everything works, and they are self contained, clean and private. Fully stocked supermarket, gym and tennis courts over the road, and quiet location

“Winter Break”

We could have been given a bit more info when we checked in rather than keep going back and asking questions. There was a wide variety of food. Some of it could have been warmer. It is a 30 minute walk to the beach but worth it. Many restaurants are to be found in the beach area.

“Great hotel if you largely wish to stay in it by the pool”

Hotel itself was great. I didn't quite realise how far it was from the ocean/beach (25 mins walk) - but that may be because I never been in Maspalomas before so I didnt quite have the lie of the land. If you wish to stay by the pool beneath the palm trees and read your book while getting some sun in a civilised environment - this is the hotel to do it.

“Clean and relaxing!”

This complex was very relaxing with an adequate supermarket on site. It was refreshing to walk out of my front door and only be 10 paces from the pool. It is only a short taxi ride away from some very nice resturants and the casino.

Clean,comfortable and tidy site, a policy of no reserve on sun loungers, but on most occassions found that every chair had a towel, reported! but little done to accommadate, seems there is a rule for locals and another for the brits?? Day waiter not to helpful towards brits, but expected that, spanish would help to learn, seem to help alittle more if you try. Food exellent on site and at a good price, all prices are on par to UK,

“I would definetely go back”

Very quiet, small hotel with lovely pool in the middle. Far away from the noise and hussle of Playa de Ingles. Quite few good restaurants around, especially Grande Canale on the way to Maspalomas Beach. Access to the sea and shops very easy.
