Pros: Gardens and pool.
Cons: Bedrooms very dated and need upgrading.
Nice outdoor pool. Very good evening meal. Bedrooms need upgrading.

Weekend at the Alcadima

Pros: The restaurant.
Cons: The paper thin walls in the economy rooms!
Location: Lanjaron is great for a stroll around and there's lots of walks in the mountains.
We went for three nights and booked an economy room (which was a mistake). It's at the front of the hotel and very noisy - not only from traffic but also paper thin walls. We had the pleasure of listening to a full sale row in our native language! Saying that - the standard rooms which we did move to for one night are lovely and very quiet. The restaurant and food is fantastic. Also I had a spa - use of the indoor pool, steam and sauna and had the place completely to myself! Very relaxing.

Lovely hotel to relax by pool. Breakfast buffet poor. Dinner in restaurant mostly very good but understaffed so v slow service. Would return.

We only stayed for 2 nights but found the hotel to be located in a very convenient location for exploring the Sierra Nevada and Granada areas. The breakfast buffet and dinner at the hotel was very good although the service at the evening meal was a little slow due to the number of staff to diners. The wait was worthwhile though with the standard of food excellent. Would highly recommend!!!!
