Great location, the staff were very helpfull very nice room cool just right for the summer breakfast was great good choice of food and plenty of it,the roof terrace was to to die for,after a long walk around Granadas finest sites it was great to go to the terrace for a very well earned drink would recomend 1st Class.

hotel was very clean, most of the staff was friendly and helpful. had a nice view of the alhambra and the sierra nevadas. the hotel is very centrally located and many attractions including shopping are within walking distance. cabs were also easy to get from this location.

The Hotel Carmen overall was a great place to stay in Granada. It was very centrally located so we could walk just about anywhere. However their bus system wasn't to hard to figure out. I was a little disappointed with the reception desk. They weren't as friendly as one would expect. The rest of the staff was great. The servers for breakfast were very nice. Also the pub downstairs was a nice place to end our evening. Our bartender was great

“Short Visit”

Rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The rooftop pool was closed and no bar apparent. Downstairs bar very good. I found the hotel a little impersonal as with many of this catagory. Very well situated within easy walking distance of most attractions and many restaurants.

We stayed two nights in Nov. 2005. The staff was friendly and the hotel is well located to walk to various sights. We'd go back.

Comfortable room - no view (opens on an inner courtyard) but very quiet. Good breakfast.

“Granada's Best Location”

Stay here and you will see Granada. Stay here and don't expect much from the staff. Our room was great. The included breakfast was well done. But from the moment you check in at the front desk to the point they bring your car from the garage don't expect much from the staff. The room is well located right in the middle of town near shopping and lots of places to eat. Clean room but our TV wouldn't stay on. We recomend Hotel Carmen, just don't expect the staff to step up.
