“Granada - Dauro I hotel”
Dauro I is very conveniently located especially if you are arriving by air and taking the airport bus into town. One of the aiport bus stops is right across the street from the hotel and the stop going back to the airport is right in front of the hotel. There are 2 Dauro hotels and Dauro II is on Calle Navas which is not accessible by car so the distinction between the two is very important. There is also an El Corte Ingles with a supermarket that is very close to Dauro I making it convenient for standard purchases like bottles of water, fruits, snacks and wine.
We requested a quiet room and they gave us a room in the back of the 2nd floor, which suited us. The room was clean, had the standard amenities (mini bar, hairdryer, small TV), and was very spacious, unlike some European hotels. There were numerous restaurants within a short walk, to choose from. Calle Navas is the street with all the Tapas bars that we frequented daily.
The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and could speak English. We were very satisfied with the service and would recommend it for anybody looking for a comfortable, clean, and convenient hotel. I would not classify it as a luxury or boutique hotel so will not be for those looking for luxury.
