Central location

Posted Sep 17, 2014
Excellent central location with easy reach to all tourist destinations in Granada. The hotel room was small with little natural light available with only a window looking onto an alley. However, the staff were friendly and everything was clean with a vending machine available for nibbles and drinks

Great location in historic building

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Historic building, very nice staff.
Cons: Air quality -- use of strong cleaning materials. Update furnishings. I would recommend hotel but warn to check room before committing.
Location: Excellent location, easy to access Alhambra and old part of city. Variety of restaurants.
We had a mixed experience at this hotel. Originally our room was in the hotel's second building, connected to the historic palace. It, and the room, had a very disturbing turpentine-like scent that made us ill, so the staff moved us to a different but smaller room in the older building. This room had a small updated bathroom. It was comfortable, although somewhat dark. The bed was comfortable, furnishings (side tables, wardrobe, stool) older and somewhat wobbly. The scent of the other building may have been a very strong cleaning solution. The original room was large, with a loft space, however there was only a small, and very high window in the room, which created a very dark space.

Comfortable hotel in the quaint Albaicin

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Great for kids. Our room had a second attic room with it's own TV. Our 7-year old enjoyed that separate room.
Cons: Help with parking and bags while checking in and out.
Parking isn't close to the hotel - need a taxi, and need to haul your bags up steps. Staff are helpful, but could be more friendly and welcoming. The entrance and lobby areas are basic, and could be so much more beautiful - especially considering what you'll see in Granada.

Beautiful building, perfect location

The sights, the smell of mint and flowers in the air around Alahambra, and the beauty of this old Andalucian building combined to make this a wonderful experience.

Quaint hotel, close to Alhambra

Posted Jun 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location was very quaint, just odd cobblestone streets, with adequately sized rooms. Granada is not meant for drivers, so if you can avoid driving there, it is recommended. We had 2 per room, but with a double bed downstairs and a twin and trundle in the loft, we could have easily for our family of four. The beds were very firm, but we could survive for our two night stay. It was very nice to be just down the street from many restaurants.

Close to Alhambra, lots of stairs!

Posted Jun 13, 2014
Charming old hotel with helpful staff. Noisy at night. No lifts and lots of stairs so be prepared. Nice breakfast buffet. No parking on site but they were very helpful in directing us to a good car park downtown. Would stay here again.

Interesting hotel in quiet location.

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: The location was very good although it can't be reached directly by taxi. The interior was cool and relaxing after a day in the sun.
The young receptionist who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful. We were allocated Room 22, a double room with a spiral staircase leading from the sleeping area to a separate sitting area. The room looked into the interior courtyard. Whilst relaxing from our journey we opened the window wide because there was a strange smell in the room and it soon became apparent why. The loo from the bathroom above was flushed and along with the loud noise from the pipes within a cupboard above the door the smell of drains that filled the room was very offensive. We asked to move and were shown two rooms....one that had just been painted and had a machine in it to take away the smell of paint and a smaller room on the ground floor, room 15. We opted for this as although quite dark it was quiet and had no smell. The bed was comfortable and the room & bathroom clean with a shower over the bath. This was ok but very slippy and the bath was a little marked. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel preferring to grab a coffee and croissant in the main square. The receptionist made a dinner reservation for us on the first evening at a restaurant she recommended which had wonderful views of the Alhambra. Before we arrived the hotel had secured tickets for us for the Alhambra when it seemed none were available online.

Good location. Easy access to many Seville sights

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: Plenty of too and the opportunity to self cater.
Cons: We were disturbed by a group of noisy students on our first night at the apartment. However it was quiet for the next 2 nights.
Location: Easy to wLk to most sights from this location.
The apartment was roomy, and the bed was reasonably comfortable.
