Awesome Location!!Posted Aug 19, 2014
Location: The hotel is close by shopping area, cathedral, bus stop to go to the Alhambra, city tour bus stop.
This hotel is in an awesome location!!! steps away from downtown. This hotel is close by everything! the bus stop where you can go to the Alhambra, close by the Cathedral. I recommend the city tour, they also have a stop up to the Alhambra and an excellent view. If you have time, I recommend a Flamenco show as well. The best thing about Granada is the free tapas! When you order a drink they give you a plate of food. Def awesome! I went in July, so it was really hot. Watch out for the gypsy's right near the cathedral, they can get aggressive and grab you to get your attention. The staff is great too! The help you with whatever you need and you are able to buy tickets in advance at the hotel or you can also buy them at a book store a block away. Make sure you buy your tickets to the Alhambra in advance!!! its well worth it!

Excellent locationPosted Aug 15, 2014
Fantastic and helpful staff who helped us navigate our few days. Rooms are small but you're not there for the room. You're there to experience the culture and that is easily done from here, steps away from the Muslim Quarter, good bars and the shopping district as well as the major attractions.

Nice hotel, close to Plaza Nueva, walk to sightsPosted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Easy access from train station (1 bus). Great location for tourists, near all the sights. Reasonable rates on Expedia.
Cons: Nothing negative!
Hotel staff very helpful with directions. Centrally located so you can walk (or taxi or bus) to Alhambra, cathedral, near many sidewalk cafés and shops. Hotel was clean and comfortable; has an elevator and air-conditioning. Breakfast buffet available, but we did not try it due to early reservation at Alhambra.

Traveling in Spain with familyPosted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Very good location. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast.
Cons: The bars of soap provided are tiny.
Like most of Europe, the rooms in this hotel were quite small. But our room had a fairly large bathroom which, for the most part, was clean, except for some long black hairs stuck on the shower wall. The hotel itself was centrally located, very close to Plaza Nuevo, and near both a bus line and a cab stand. It was also very reasonably priced and the breakfast provided was quite good.

Nice little hotel with very central locationPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Location and the service were both great
Location: Centre of town, you can walk to restaurants, bus, train, shops
We really enjoyed talking with Kathy at the front desk - in English, which is probably rare. She gave us some great suggestions on where to go in our quick stay, including two nice restaurants close by, which we enjoyed. Good background about Alhambra, which was the big attraction in the city. The room was fine, clean and airy.

Perfect base for 5 days of culture, food and sun!Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The staff, the cleanliness, the rooms
Cons: Bottled water in the rooms (although its only 2 euros for a huge bottle at reception), some sound proofing between the corridor and the room
Location: Everything you read about in Granada City is maximum 20 minutes walk, plus there are tour busses that go down Via Colon.
This hotel is bang in the middle of everything, on a quiet(ish) back street just off Via Colon - if you're getting the bus from Granada Airport (3euros and takes 40 mins), the hotel is seconds walk from the Cathedral bus stop. It is minutes from the Cathedral, Albaicin, The Hammam Baths, the shopping areas, buzzing squares full of tapas bars and Calle Elvira. From here you can also walk to the Alhambra, the Science park, the river, Socremonte and most other attractions in 20 minutes or less. We did our best to speak Spanish as much as we could, and the locals do appreciate this, but the hotel receptionist spoke fluent English, and was so helpful, she recommended places for breakfast, things to do and directions. Breakfast in the hotel was very good quality, but not a huge selection. Having said this, wherever we tried for breakfast in Granada, we found to be similar, it seems that Spanish breakfast mainly consists of pastries, toast, cheese and ham, yoghurt and fruit. If this sounds perfect for you, then the hotel breakfast is great. Our room was spacious, the air con good and it was very very clean. We had a small balcony and the balcony doors are fairly sound proof, but do be aware that the hotel is right in the heart of Granada, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, and those narrow streets that are so beautiful and typical, do carry the sound.

Great LocationPosted Jun 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel with helpful staff, they arranged tickets and appointments at the Alhambra before we arrived which made everything go smoothly. Hotel is very convienent to walking everywhere. We had a car which we parked, it is a little hard to manuver in the old town due to a lot of closed to car streets and one way streets which our Navigation system did not recognize.
