Reasonable valuePosted May 19, 2015
Pros: The location.
Location: Great location.Close to food, the Cathedral, not too far from the Alhambra, but still a cab/bus ride away.
A little difficult to find, even with thier explicit directions (in spite of what they told us, Google Maps on a smart phone did find it). The front stairs are a bit intimidating for someone with limited mobility, but they have to maintain the historic appearance. Parking was close, and since we arrived reasonably early, we got a space.

Very Good Location, but not very comfortablePosted May 5, 2015
The Hotel is in a very good location, many nice Tapas Bar around and few minutes walk to the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel, etc. You can even walk to the Alhambra in 20 minutes. The room was small and very noisy since the windows were facing the inner court. Breakfast was ok. Car-park was 18 Euros per night.

Ideal situation to explore Granada.Posted Apr 25, 2015
Location: 15 minutes walk to Alhambra; 2 minutes to Cathedral and Royal Chapel; on the edge of the Albaicin.
Great situation. Perfect for eating out and very central for Alhambra and other tourist sites. Room was a little on the small side but clean. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Not up to NH standardsPosted Apr 20, 2015
Cons: See my review.
Location: Near the Cathedral and Plaza Neuva.
The hotel location is good, near to the Cathedral and Plaza Neuva. The hotel, however, is not up to NH standards. The TV did not work, there was no kettle for heating water for tea or coffee in room, the safe did not lock properly and was unusable, and, apart from Rafael, the staff was courteous but unhelpful. Rafael was not just courteous, but was reliable in his knowledge and helpful, especially in getting airline boarding passes printed ( which the other staff had said they were not equipped to do). Basically, I felt that the Inglaterra just used its location but otherwise was a second rate place.

Great Location & Good EnoughPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Location, Walking Tour
Cons: Breakfast buffet was overpriced and not included
Location: City walking tour, Cathedral & Alhambra just a short walk away.
This isn't a great hotel, but it was Good Enough and reasonably priced. It's an older property, but seemed well-maintained. The location is fantastic for walking in Granada and their hook-up to the city walking tour was fantastic. I could stay at the Inglaterra again.

Sensationeller Balkonblick auf die Alhambra, Parkpltzsituation wie in allen spanischen Altstädten katastrophal und teuer
