“gret service”
the hotel was clean and in a supper location. Quiet !!! the people were very helpful and extremly nice!!
“Great location, good quality/price ratio”
Very good location, downtown Granada. Next to the cathedral and walking distance to Alhambra. A little bit noisy because the quality of the windows, but overall acceptable.
“Good location”
Chosen at the last minuite - so very good value dispite not including breacfast in the room price. But no matter - there is an excellent cafe 1 min around the corner. Proved to be well located - within 5 min walk of the catherdral and the Plaza Nueva, Albercine etc. And in a city of many excellent bars, there was a particularly great (very busy) bar just next door. Helpful staff.
“Tidy, clean hotel close to The Alhambra”
Hotel Macia Gran Via is situated in an excellent location accessible to all the main attractions, including The Alhambra. It is a tidy and clean hotel with all the basic amenities. We were impressed that the Porter took our luggage to our room, but were disappointed that the hotel could not organise a taxi to the train station for us, leaving us to flag one down in the mid 40 degree heat.
“Good choice for flashpackers”
Location is great, right outside the south entrance of Gran Via metro station. Some pointers from me to help others find it, as things can appear chaotic when you exit. The hotel is on the 7/8th floor in the building adjoining the McDonald's. That building houses two other hotels, so you've got to take the lift up to the reception. You can easily walk to Sol metro station and Plaza Mayor. We loved that there's an El Corte Ingles supermarket very nearby to get cheap bottled water and fruits. One thing though is that there are hookers on the street at all hours (more noticeable at night when there's less people), so don't stay here this bothers you. I found it quite surprising as there's a police station nearby too - I guess they found a reason to tolerate this. Other than that, the room we had was clean and comfortable, as expected for a basic 3* star hotel. There's free wi-fi at the reception which is great.
“Extremely noisy”
This hotel is on a heavy traffic street. I couldn't sleep all night. Also, the signs directing to the hotel stop at a certain point and you have to guess your way.
