Apartment Hotel
This is an apartment hotel and as such there is quite a lot of self-service i.e. getting luggage to the room etc. The accommodation is spacious, kitchen is well-equipped for European guests. (No kettle for the English) also nothing provided in the way of tea, cofee, washing up liquid so bring your own. Breakfast is a very good buffet selection in lovely surroundings. We also had a delightful meal at the restaurant once again in lovely surroundings with very friendly service. On a main road but surprisingly quiet at all hours

Best hotel in almunecar,excellent pool area ,very good quality breakfast.The cleaning staff were 1st class. The three bed suites with the garden view give you a wonderful Vista of the town and gardens,great value booking.

Some charm. Some downside.
Lobby was beautiful, breakfast was tasty, checkin person was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Room was in need of TLC, specifically the doors to the balconies both had broken locks. A big deal because we’re traveling with a 3-year-old. Pool area was not kid friendly, too deep for me to go in and be able to stand with a child. Also, so many ants in that area.

The room is very unique, big and beautiful. The hotel is very nice and looks luxury. Everting is very good just too many mirrors. Breakfast was good as well. Really want to stay more days and will be back next time. Highly recommend.

The rooms were spacious. However, the staff in the dining room were awful. we had the half board and the first night we went to dinner, we sat down to some (awful food) but were happy to have bottles of wine at the tables. We each had a glass which made up a little for the food. But then one of the staff came over and rudely said "why are you sitting at this table and drinking the groups wine". I replied that there were no indications this table or any other table was part of a group dinner. She replied that well otherwise this side of the dining room is not open for dinner. I said it was our first night so we wouldn't know that and we would pay for the wine. She then brought over another staff so we could hear it all again. Then they cleared the clean plates from our table and otherwise did what they could to make a scene. We noticed this also happened to another couple. Fortunately, we were only there two nights and no more dinners.

Relaxing stay
Typically Spanish resort-If you’re looking for a resort full of Brits and entertainment then not for you.Relaxing break,great pool and small games room to entertain the kids.Spacious apartment,comfortable beds,good selection of food,friendly staff.Hotel looking a little tired and worn in places but overall a fantastic stay.

Holiday where Spaniards go.
At first glance thought town was run down, but has areas of differing urban qualities, some apartments at €100k with since villas over €2mm.(2017). Beach not white sand, a mix of grey sand and pebbles. Authentic Spanish town (27000 pop), charming old town, not a big town at all, but there are so many cars, parking is a lottery. For groceries there is a Lidl store, in town centre next to McDonalds. Lots of shops of all levels, best within the tight streets and small plazas of old town. Hotel menu was set up for standard set menu which we found expensive and second rate to what the town has to offer. Tapas definitely try El Chino (the pebble) at the most western end of the seafront. El Pinocchio in old town for pizza and lovely steak. Pepe’s on the beach was good, great sunset views, La Dorada del Plato on the beach was excellent. Churros in the beach a must. La Herradura and the marina worth a visit. Our hotel is the most white, mist marbled and most mirrored we have ever experienced. It was a delight unique and sophisticated. The staff were always pleasant polite and efficient. The hotel grounds are special and a delight to be in, probably the best in the town. Signs of ongoing repair underway( it is 30 yrs old ) but maintenance levels very high, rooms and hotel cleaned to a high level. Hotel And grounds was conceived by the owner as an statement against the norm of hotel development , we think definitely influenced by Cesar Manrique (Lanzarote).

Lovely hotel, great pool and grounds
The suite was fine but had a few niggles. One of the bathrooms had a cracked sink, the grouting in the shower enclosures was dirty in places, needed the grout removing and re grouting. The door into our bedroom stuck when halfway open, was rectified when we reported it. The cleaner forgot to make our bed up one day, also forgot the second bed. Overall it was clean and pleasant.

Impromptu and pleasant one night stay
Generously apportioned apartment, hotel facilities not bad if a little dated now. Full hotel meant a scrum for loungers by the pool and a non-relaxing breakfast but this is pretty standard stuff!

The apartment was very spacious and the gardens extremely well kept. The only downside was that we were out of season and very few apartments were in use therefore the bars and restaurant were shut. The receptionist did however recommend a restaurant 5 minutes walk away which was excellent.

Càr parking a nightmare no bar drinks after 7pm
Nice place but they need better car parking or cheaper 17 euro per day bar needs too open longer hours 3 hours a day joke .and it's the best bar around

A very spacious suite with everything you need for a self catering stay. The bars were both closed when we wanted a refreshing drink on arrival at lunchtime.

Try Hotel Casablanca!
Horrible stay! We checked in late only to find that the shower was defective. I walked to the front desk in a towel and had a very nice attendant follow me back to the room to confirm the shower was broken (he noted in the hotel's system). The 'climatizer' system, is not an Air Conditioner, and it too was broken, or not able to cool the room, again complaint and noted in System by the night attendant. In the morning I went to complain about the issues and the MANAGER said there was nothing he could do, other than not charge me the $14 parking fee. I paid $192 for a horrible night's stay! When I said I'd take it up with my credit card, he said he'd have to then go ahead and charge my Parking...adding insult on injury. The property is old, and not in the best condition, i.e. the handle to the sliding door was broken, screw fell out on the ground when I went to open it... Do not stay here... the pictures are nice, but he stay and treatment by the management is horrible!

a very big disappointment for a '4' star hotel. the facility and the hotel are very old. the room is in bad condition. they seriously need renovation. about a good 15 minutes walk to the beach.

Easy family holiday hotel
We needed a hotel where the kids could have their own room and we could have good facilities for cooking and washing. We got a large 2 bedroom suite with generous open lounge/diner, bathroom with bath and well equipped kitchen with great washing machine. There were a few Sharp corners on tables which cause safety concerns for me with a 2 and 4 year old. Breakfast was great and we filled up every morning, I am vegan and found I had plenty to eat at the buffet. Pool was bit cold but the kids loved it. Beach was an easy walk away as we're the shops. Lidl and big supermarket walkable but we chose to drive. Not too crowded in early May and the weather was perfect. Great family hotel and location.

We loved staying at this hotel. Their suites were large and beautiful, very comfortable. We'd stay here anytime we are back. Summer is ideal, as the pools are beautiful. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous hotel but ......
The hotel itself was very nice, beautifully designed and well maintained and the reception staff were multilingual. On the down side, it was a good 15 minute walk to the beach and there was only one TV channel in English (Sky news). There was no information about the hotel or the area in the room, we were not even sure how to call reception. The breakfast buffet was generous with a good variety of food but the hot food was only warm. We wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

Beautiful pool area
We have stayed at this hotel many years ago and thought we would like a return visit. The public areas are still very beautiful but the suites are in need of some TLC. We paid extra, on arrival, for the lovely sea view as the alternative is a noisy road overlooking apartments. We would certainly recommend this option. The apartment was clean and comfortable but lacking some of the necessities if you decided to eat in. It did not spoil the enjoyment of our holiday. It is a great location for exploring this part of Spain.

Wonderful, peaceful haven!
Fabulous Hotel in wonderful location! Surrounded on 3 sides by an orchard and felt like you were away from everything, whilst being only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and shops. Beautifully maintained grounds, with gardens and fountains. Lovely pool with nicely spaced loungers - great shallow end for kids.buffet breakfast was lovely and a la Carte restaurant food was high quality. staff all very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Absolute Vollkatastrophe: angepriesene Poolanlage total verdreckt und mit Möwenkacke versaut....ein Badeparadies für die Möwen, aber nicht für die Gäste. Ebenso sind die Becken der Brunnen wohl auch länger nicht gereinigt worden: verschleimtes und stinkendes Wasser. Die Zimmer selbst sind sehr laut. Man hört leider alles. Der Zustand lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig: alles alt und nur überstrichen. Klospülungen hängen dauernd und die Schlösser der Badtüren sind defekt. Die Witzfigur von der Rezeption musste öfters kommen um, mit Werkzeug, die Türen wieder freizugegeben. Unsere Tochter war sogar für längere Zeit auch darin eingeschlossen. Dies brachte das Fass vollends zum Überlaufen und gab uns dann somit den Rest, das Hotel umgehend zu verlassen. Das Essen war eine Zumutung: ständig kalt und immer das gleiche. Keine Babykost. Bei Vollpension kein Getränk dabei: alles muss extra bezahlt werden. Der verlogene Hotelmanager versprach uns dann zuerst, dass er als kleine Wiedergutmachung den Transfer für das neue Hotel übernimmt, was er dann beim Checkout wieder zurücknahm. Von Expedia kam, trotz sofortiger Reklamation, bisher keinerlei Unterstützung bzw. eine Entschädigung!!!!! Hotelwechsel inkl. Transfer mussten wir selber organisieren und auch bezahlen. Rechtliche Schritte behalten wir uns vor. Dieses Hotel ist absolut keine 4 Sterne wert. Mitarbeiter sind aber größtenteils bemüht und nett und für mich, neben den geprellten Gästen, ebenfalls die Leidtragenden.

Trop décevant pour le prix payé
Trop déçu par la qualité de service. Je trouve que l'hôtel est excessivement cher pour pas grand chose. Point de frustration : pour la réservation on voit bien "Parking sans service de voiturier", mais arrivé sur place : Pas de parking, on me propose de louer une place au garage pour € la nuit ! Inadmissible !

Necesita reforma, servicio y limpieza
Necesita una reforma, muchas de las instalaciones estan obsoletas. Falta personal de servicio, por ejemplo, en el desayuno no había nadie. Por otro lado, las habitaciones tienen falta de limpieza. En general, no estuvimos cómodos y teniendo en cuenta el precio que tiene, esperabamos bastante mas.

Buffet sin identificar para celíacos como nos dijeron al realizar la reserva, hay que preguntar continuamente que se puede comer, prácticamente nada, porque además está todo mezclado. Lejos de la playa, zonas comunes y piscina muy bonitas, apartamentos amplios, pero falta mantenimiento. (cisterna rota, manguera rota, puerta cocina descolgada, etc).

별로...
체크인 하는데 결제정보가 바로 안떠서 30분가량을 기다렸습니다. 그리고 방으로 올라갔는데 청소가 안되어있더군요. 다시 카운터로 가서 다른방으로 바꿔는데. 발코니 화단에 쓰레기가 있고 버려놓은 면도기까지.
