Great location

Nice hotel, good location, in walking distance of most things, even Al hambra if you really wanted to go for it. Staff were nice and friendly, didn't use the breakfast service so cannot rate that. I

Perfectly positioned for exploring Granada

Posted May 28, 2014
Pros: Position, staff friendliness and helpfulness, excellent value for money.
Cons: For my 3-night stay, nothing noteworthy negative thing to report really.
Location: From the hotel, the whole of the historic part of Granada can be explored on foot, plus the main shopping areas, too.
Few minutes' walk from cathedral, Plaza Nueva etc. - makes it very easy to explore all of the historic parts of Granada. Taxis right in front of the hotel, in case walking is not an option. Staff is very helpful, breakfast offering is very good for loading up before long walks :)

Very central, knowledgeable staff and underground parking. Room 'functional' and a bit dated but fine for a resting place.

Conveniently situated near the Cathedral.

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of the staff and the convenient location.
Cons: The bed headboard needs to be removed, more sockets installed, loo roll replaced regularly and lighting improved.
Location: Walk to the cathedral, take a bus to the Alhambra and the Arab Quarter.
The first problem was that there are steps to the lift. The second problem was the impossibility of keeping on the bedside light as the headboard knocked it and switched it off. There were too few sockets with which to charge mobiles, camera batteries and one was behind the headboard. Loo paper was not regularly replaced. The buffet breakfast lacked tomatoes and a variety of fruit. BUT the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Safe hotel, close to the Alhambra and shopping

Posted Mar 21, 2014
Pros: It felt safe, was very clean and nearby to everything in Granada.
Cons: The bed was not incredibly comfortable. The mattress was firm (but maybe other people like that), and the pillow was flat. More pillows would help.
Location: The older (prettier) part of the city is a short walk, the Alhambra is a 20 minute walk (there are buses nearby to take you there too), lots of shops.
This hotel is right in the city center, surrounded by loads & loads of stores. It was a 20 minute walk to the Alhambra, which was the main reason for my stay. I stayed in a single bedroom, which was small, but just what I needed. I stayed on the third floor (room 307) and its window faced the courtyard (which meant that you faced other peoples' windows, so nothing to look at, but it allowed in natural light), which I preferred to facing the street as it was incredibly quiet. The bedroom was fairly narrow with a huge bathroom. I had the hotel breakfast one day and it had a good selection - eggs, yogurt, fruit, juice, croissants. I didn't talk with the staff much, but they seemed pleasant whenever I did.

Convinient location, good hotel

Posted Jan 27, 2014
Hotel Juan Miguel was great for our family. We stayed 3 nights, we had a lovely room overlooking the main street. The staff was very resourceful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was great and plentiful. We used public transport to move around, so the hotel location was a great plus, with easy access to a bus line to/from the airport, as well as other bus lines and taxis. We had a good time.
