The staff at check in was friendly, however he stopped attending to us while checking us in to resolve some other issues of people who asked him to do small things. It made me feel less important than the people who came after me to ask the staff to do some things for them. Check in staff could have asked those other clients to wait for a few minutes to finish our check in. It’s a matter of respect. Check in staff upset one client (myself and my party) while pleasing other two clients who were in line behind me. I did not say anything to him because I thought it would prolong the check in process with the discussion, but better training from the supervisor would be in order.

Melia Granada was a great hotel! First, I would classify it as a "luxury" hotel for the area with a great staff and really clean rooms. Secondly, they offer very good amenities including excellent breakfast and room service. Lastly, they have parking right next door so you don't have to drag your suitcases for blocks once you park your car. I definitely recommend Melia Granada.

Very nice hotel with all amenities. We were greeted at the door by a bellman who unloaded our suitcases and brought them up to our room while we parked in the on-site parking lot. We only stayed one night but were very happy with the accommodations.

Only stayed here one night but enjoyed our visit. We had two connecting rooms which worked well for our family (parents and 2 daughters in their 20s). Hotel is conveniently located - walked to everything. Really enjoyed exploring the streets/shops of Granada and touring the Alhambra. Definitely worth the visit and overnight stay to see sunset over Alhambra.

The hotel was extremely good value and the staff really helpful. The breakfast was an extensive buffet but the menu choice for the evening meal was rather limited and repetitive presumably due to low numbers of visitors in February. A great visit. Thank you

The location was great, in the center of Granada. Good breakfast buffett, plenty of options. We did not like: paper thin walls. We were in a premium room and we could hear the couple next door fighting. Smallish rooms eventhough it was a premium.

Highly recommended!
Overall a lovely hotel, perfect location, great views (if your room faces the mountains and it’s on the top floor: pics attached), fine breakfast buffet, comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. I’d personally change the bathtubs since they feel very 20th century, and are hard to access especially for old people (I was traveling with my mom). Don’t rent a car: taxis are cheap and there’s an efficient bus service to La Alhambra, Sacromonte and Albayzín. Also, the bar is a must: no matter what you order it comes with a delicious and complimentary tapa.

The staff was obliging and professional, the room was clean and the hotel's location is great; the only thing that I did not like was how incredibly crowded and noisy the breakfast room was on our first morning there. As it was a buffet breakfast, all the visitors were touching everything without thinking about COVID-19 prevention measures or even basic hygiene. The staff and the hotel cannot be blamed for that and I'd even like to thank them for serving our breakfast in our room the following two mornings.

Location excellent albeit lots of nigh-time noise from adjacent street bars, drunk revellers and garbage trucks. Quiet after 4:00am. Room was really really tiny and terrace was large but ugly. Slippery shower-over-bath. Bathroom was old but clean. Noisy aircon. Walls are paper thin, so could hear neighbours conversations and bathroom activities. The cheap open-coil mattress on the small double bed was a torture device that denied sleep. The minibar produced lots of external heat but cooled nothing inside sufficiently. The breakfast area is far too small for the size of the hotel and the resulted in a wait for tables and a bunfight experience. Some staff seemed overworked whilst others were disinterested and cold. Superficially the hotel looks good, but underneath it is poor.
