Excellent hotel, excellent location

Posted Nov 12, 2014
My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights only and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. Although a bit pricey, we found the location and comfort to be totally worth it. The hotel is uniquely located on a corner steps away from shopping, restaurants, pubs, buses, and famous Alhambra (yes we walked- you can too!). Our room had a mini balcony overlooking a major street - with the doors closed you can't hear a thing! The room and bathroom were spacious enough, clean and comfortable. As it is an older hotel it shows quite a bit of wear and tear (scuffs and random spots on the carpet). The staff was also very helpful, recommended restaurants and bars and answered all of our questions. Overall I recommend this hotel for everyone.

Nice hotel... if they honour your reservation

Posted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The guy on the reception desk was polite and as helpful as he could be.
Cons: Honour your bookings. Telling people when they arrive that they aren't staying there is totally unacceptable and RUDE.
Four of us were supposed to stay here recently booked under two separate bookings. When the four of us arrived at 3:45pm we were advised that our room wouldn't be ready for another hour still (2 hours after checkin was expected). We were also advised that they had booked a large tour group over the top so one of us no longer had a room despite being booked and paid for a month earlier. They sent our friends to a different hotel down the road with no upfront offer of compensation. Disappointed at this treatment from a 4* hotel.

We spent two nights in the beautiful city of Granada. The hotel location was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. I wish I could remember the man at the front desk when we arrived who welcomed two very ragged travelers to this lovely hotel.

Fantastic location, very nice room and great staff. i was there for only one night during a long road trip through Spain and Portugal, and that was one of the best place to stay. Very quite.

Great Location in the Heart of Granada

Posted Aug 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a nice and very convenient hotel right in the heart of Granada with only a short walk to all the major sites in the city. The only downside in the access and instructions to the parking, which was not very easy to find as it involves driving along and behind the hotel along very narrow streets which also have other car parks for other hotels, so don't make the mistake of going into the wrong one. The hotel breakfast was not included in our room stay, but we purchased it on the first day. It was a little expensive, although the variety of food was acceptable, the service was a little slow as they only had one person serving - so expect to wait for your omelette to be made!

Great hotel - once you're parked!

Posted Aug 1, 2014
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the NH Victoria. The staff were extremely pleasant and the location is great - right in the heart of modern Granada. At the same time, we were within a half hours walk to Alhambra. The only caution I would like to mention is parking! The hotel does not have dedicated parking so you must find a space in a municipal lot. In addition, there are signs that forbid access to the downtown at certain times unless you are a bus or a taxi. You should ignore these signs and drive downtown anyway since you are exempt from these rules if you are a hotel guest.

Very nice hotel in the heart of the city

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: The hotel is clean comfortable. Staffs are super friendly and helpful. There is basically no facilities as it is situated in the heart of the city.
Location: Situated right in the heart of the city with market, restaurants and hop on tour bus just around the corner. Alhumbra is very close by.
We had a family holiday just staying in Granada. The hotel is situated right in the heart of the city with basically everything within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel which is clean, comfortable and roomy with a very good breakfast as well.
