“Not that great”
The hotel looked a lot better online. Our room didn't have an actual window! There was a window which was facing an enclosed court yard so other people can see in our room. We kept the curtains down the whole time. No fresh air either...Also the breakfast area was in the courtyard and we could hear every conversation people were having at breakfast starting at 7am!!! We asked to have our room changed and even pay for an upgrade but there was no rooms available. We asked if anything opens at any price to have us moved if possible. No one asked us the next day or even mention anything. The staff wasn't very helpful and they didn't even have a map of Granada... The room was large with a big bed. good size bathroom but the shower was tiny. I could barely move in the shower (it is one of those with sliding doors/ no tub). The location is good. You can walt to many restaurants and coffee shops + shopping. Short bus/cab ride to Alhambra.
“Amazing hotel with the best location ever!”
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Firstly the location was what we thought to be the best location in Granada, right on a pedestrian shopping street with little squares/piazzas with nice restaurants and gelato shops just a few minutes in any direction. About a 3 min walk to the bus stop, on the main street, to take you to the train station and la alhambra and maybe a 5 min walk into the 'old town'. I loved the street we were on and the face that it was pedestrian only. Secondly the room was very modern, clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom. The staff at the reception were full of useful tips and information and always happy to help. Breakfast was tasty too! I can't recommend this hotel highly enough, it was just such good value. If I am lucky enough to return to Granada I will only stay here.
“Perfect location!”
This hotel really was in the perfect location for the best of Granada and an excellent bargain! It was the only one during our whole stay that offered both breakfast and the internet included for a very reasonable price. Also, we took the olive oil tour (which I highly recommend) and they set it up for us very easily. I really don't think that you could beat this as a place to stay in Granada.
“Excellent hotel for the price”
We spent four nights here - great location - LOVED the roof top patio with awesome view of the Alhambra. We had it all to our selves!
“Central and convenient”
This hotel was in a great location, walking distance to everywhere. It even rained while we were there and we were close to bus stops, restaurants, and shops. Definitely a great choice. We would certainly go back. Plus it's really cute.
“great hotel”
The people running this small hidden hotal are lovely and very welcoming. They speak perfect english which is not a common feature in spain!!!! Breakfast is rather limited btu satisfying.... you get a home feel in this place. If I go back to granada, I would definitely go to mate leo
“Great location and service”
Great hotel in the middle of the town and the shopping area
“Excellent in every way you can think of”
Perfect location. Newly renovated (or just opened) - everything smells new. Really neat view from the lounge on top floor. Very helpful and friendly staff.
“Beautiful Granada”
Room mate Leo was located in a great neighborhood close to everything. We barely ever took any transportation to the historical sites. The hotel itself was a cute boutique style hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, modern and comfortable. We only had two issues, 1. the hotel was very noisy, maybe because of the location of our room in the hotel. 2. The front desk staff leave at 11:00 pm and although there is a staff on call in case of needing help or emergencies, if someone tries to contact you from the US or anywhere else after 11:00 they can't reach you. But over all we really liked the hotel and definitely recommend it to everyone.
“Well situated, friendly staff”
I'm happy to go out of my way to give this hotel a plug. We stayed two nights and were very happy with everything about this place. It's centrally located, but is a nice, low-key refuge, which suited us very well. The staff were generous with restaurant suggestions. Having breakfast available from 7 to noon was especially appreciated, and the rooftop room is a great bonus too.
