“surprised”

Due to my wife hang knee replacement they had no rooms downstairs and up graded us to a small suit downstairs for her. That was a surprise.

“Will return in the future.”

My mother and I each had a king room and we were surprised how large the rooms were. My mother's room had a very noisy air conditioner and I could not have stayed in the room. The air conditioner did not bother her, so it worked out fine. The hotel is located conveniently by the larger food and pharmacy places. There are several eating places close by - you could get to by foot...

“Days Inn Lake Granbury”

For the price this was excellent. Very clean, extremely courteous staff, bed was very comfortable (which surprised me!). The breakfast left something to be desired, but in all we were very pleased.

“extremely accomidating”

My sisters & I checked in, and placed our luggage in the room. We turned on the air conditioner, but it didn't seem to create cool air, so we called the office and they said they needed to turn it on down there, and they did. We visited in another room with other family members for several hours and returned to our room to find it had barely started to removed the stifling heat. We contacted the office and they mentioned moving us to another room. we had just unpacked and the thought of repacking and unpacking again wasn't appealing to us, so they came up and swapped out the air-conditioning unit with one from another room. We had also discovered the light over the mirror in the sink area was flickering and not very bright, so they worked on that for quite some time, but finally got it working. They also brought us up a couple of big fans to help cool off the room so we could sleep. This young couple that was running this hotel were EXTREMELY Apologetic and continued to go above and beyond during our entire stay. Yes I would recommend this hotel to someone and I would stay here again.

“Grandbury's The Best”

Loved our stay. Friendly and great location for the old downtown Christmas activities and close for by places to eat. Great breakfast each morning. Was well rested and felt safe at our stay.

“Comfy”

The staff was very pleasant. I had requested a lower level room because of heavy luggage. I did not know that I did not have this room until I checked in. The room was comfortable but we soon discovered that the phone or the blow dryer did not work. The staff quick to be helpful. The continental breakfast was standard. The waffle maker would not completely cook the waffles so we settled for cereal. All in all, good location and good service.

“Great place for family”

Nice hotel for a great price. Only disappointment is the pool was closed.

“Decent for the price”

For the price it was a decent stay. Although there were not any hand towels in our room, there were bath and wash towels. The room said it was non-smoking, but the bedspread had cigarette holes in it towards the bottom. The continental breakfast was ok. The pool was clean and a decent size. the ice machines did not work on either floor. Check out was to early 11:00 A.M. instead of 12:00 P.M.

“Not a bad hotel but not great.”

The value was good overall. The cost was not expensive and the rooms were in ok condition. It wasn't the best hotel but it was for sure not the worst. I would probably stay here again for the convenience. It was close to many resturants and downtown. It was in good repair but the room was non-smoking and smelled of old cigarettes. Overall it was an ok stay.
