Convenient

It was very conveniently located to the grand canyon park, clean comfortable, very friendly staff but definitely a corporate chain atmosphere & ridiculously expensive.

Ok but expensive

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Room was quiet as we were not in the main building. It was called a patio room I think but they also considered it a "traditional" room and there was no breakfast included. I missed that apparently when I booked and was quite surprised considering the PRICE! We will look around next time and probably stay somewhere else

Overpriced matchbox room without enough mirrors.

Posted Apr 21, 2015
The hotel looks good upon entering but it's misleading. I said no separate building lower level room. Got a 2nd floor room in separate building. Insufficient lights in parking lot. Another car was using friends headlights to see/walk within lot. We parked by lights for personal safety but extra walking for handicapped person which was why original requests were made!! Food at restaurant located within the hotel was practically inedible the best plate was nachos!! Chicken Parmesan was cold and burger was not anything special. Wendy's down the street would have been better. $221 for hotel and $60 for food was about $200 too much. Won't make that mistake again.

Nice Amenities but drove round and round.

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: looks nice, lots of amenities.
Cons: Parking difficult, to even check in. Went around building 3 times to try and find room door. Finally got out and walked between buildings.
Location: only 5 miles to Grand Canyon entrance
Beautiful room, hard to find, separate building, door tucked in between buildings. Paid too much and it didn't even include breakfast buffet???

Great Hotel Experience, close to Grand Canyon

Posted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: We liked the close proximity to the Grand Canyon. The location is a short easy drive into the Canyon Park.
Cons: The price we paid was a little high for a Best Western. Better pricing or more discount offerings could be offered.
Location: We specifically came to visit South Rim of Grand Canyon. There are all kind of tours and sight seeing adventures.
We loved our stay here! Great Hotel experience from start to finish. Check in and check out is easy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was fabulous! It was nicely decorated, well furbished and very clean! We slept well and felt right at home. We definitely would recommend this hotel and stay here again. The price was well worth it!

Good hotel. Love the bowling alley. Sit-down breakfast was very poor service and quality and took forever. Hot tub not working which was disappointing.

Decent option among slim pickins.

This hotel is fine, a little worn and dated, but clean and comfortable. They have a buffet breakfast that is quite nice (lots of fruit and hot options, and really good piping hot coffee). It used to be included in the room rate, but now its extra. Even though its quite expensive ($12 for adults), its the best option in town. We had dinner in the causal restaurant in the hotel one night, and it wasn't very good. But I didn't find any good food options in Tusayan, so I wouldn't say don't go, just lower your expectations. They have a bowling alley and a arcade which my kids loved.
