Great Location for access to the Grand Canyon

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: Pets were welcome and there was a patio door to take them for a walk in a dog friendly area
Cons: Having a microwave in the room. Suites have microwave
Location: Grand Canyon access and next to airport if taking advantage of this option.
Stayed 2 nights to have access to the Grand Canyon, but did not spend much time at Motel

Good enough for Grand Canyon

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Funny in this area, don't expect to find much for hotels and restaurants. The place must have boomed a while back and new businesses are discouraged from entering or something. So, this hotel must have been really nice when it was new. Our room was a bit beat up, but a nice flat screen TV with DirecTV. The staff was really nice and attentive. The restaurant is a bit pricey and the food isn't great, but you can certainly get a lot of food at the buffet. Again, the staff is great. I'd recommend eating there once if you have a few days to spend. There is not a lot of better alternatives for food. Since you'll be in the canyon most of the time anyway, this place is fine if a room can be had for a reasonable amount.

Pros: it was just outside of Grand Canyon National Park.
Cons: Rooms need to be modernized.
The place was nice. It seemed to be a little old. I thought the price was on high side. there was little parking.

Great room

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Close to all the sights
Cons: Pretty well did everything right
Location: Grand Canyon. Be sure to take a tour to see everything
They put us next to the pool/spa and bar with the restaurant down the hall so everything was very easy to get to.

Better than expected

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Price, location, cleanliness, easy access
My first time staying in the hotel. I have stayed in others in the area and assumed that the price paid (less than most in that location) would result in a lesser quality hotel. Wrong!!! Overall, a very good deal for your money and I would recommend others consider staying there.

Cons: The hotel needs updating looking quite tired
It is a short drive to the Grand Canyon, hotel is a bit tricky to find not on the main route.

Don't judge a book by its cover

At first I was nervous when we pulled up, but the inside of the hotel is beautiful. The room was quiet and comfortable. It was great for our one night stay! Be warned that the cleaning services starts knocking on doors around 8:30 am when check out is 11. I thought that was a bit early.

Grand Canyon

Cons: Update and better seal doors.
Town is a tourist trap. Prices outrageous for goods received. Key cards were not activated for the correct room and had to go back twice to correct.
