Comfortable

Pros: buffet dinner.
Location: Grand Canyon and the NG IMAX.
The location is close to the Park entrance and the National Geographic IMAX. Additionally it served buffet dinner which saved us headache of finding a place to eat. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice experience. Except the woman at the gift shop, she was not friendly. Overall can't complain. The room was clean and comfortable, it felt cozy.

Very nice hotel near grand canyon

Posted Nov 18, 2014
I surprised my son, daughter and granddaughter with a grand canyon getaway.I had a rental car and chose to save $ by staying in Tusyan and driving into the park. The hotel is very nice..A tropical themed atrium was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast buffet is very reasonable, the staff gracious..The room was not as clean as it should of have been but overall, a very nice hotel!

was ok for the one night stay

Posted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: Nice lobby and indoor Jacuzzi
Cons: changing the room carpet
Location: close , about 10 min to the Great Canyon , near few restaurants and the movie theater is next door
On our way from Sedona to LV , stayed for the one night. We were the party of four and stayed in one room. The room wasn't that big, but for the one night was ok. the furniture is old , but in the mint condition. the coffee cups was dirty though, and took me a few min to get rid of the old stain. There were no complimentary breakfast , but the indoor hot tub was a nice addition to our relaxing night. The hotel is close to the main restaurants on the street . I wouldn't recommended this hotel for the long stay, but for the one night stay, to experience the Grand Canyon at sunset and sunrise, will definitely be a good choice.

Really nice place!! More than I expected!

Posted Nov 18, 2014
2 minutes from park entrance. Beautiful, cozy room, beautiful atmosphere near the lobby in the courtyard, by the Jacuzzi etc. I've always stayed inside the park, but this time I had to stay outside because all the hotels in the village were sold out. I am so glad that was the case! This was a much better hotel and a great deal! We were extremely happy!

Hard Bed Hotel

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: The layout of the hotel was very nice.
Cons: Definitely the beds and the staff could be friendlier.
Location: There isn't a lot to do nearby besides the Grand Canyon which is why we were there. The sidewalks roll up about 8:00.
The bed was extremely hard. I woke up and all of my limbs were numb! The heater wasn't working right and made this horrible noise when it came on so we just turned it off. The staff was no overly friendly.

Friendly Staff

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff!
Cons: The gym was small and the whirlpool had no showers or toilets nearby.
Location: Very close to the Grand Canyon entrance several good restaurants nearby.
We stayed for one night in early November 2014. The staff was very friendly, In particular Ms. River was very helpful and enthusiastic when we checked in. Good loacation with several restaurants nearby. The hotel is older but well kept. Over all it was a good expereince for us.
