Flagstaff's Gem

Posted Jun 7, 2013
This excellent B&B is located in a quiet area about 2 miles from the center of Flagstaff. It would ideally suit travelers who have their own transport. Fine accomodation is separated from the main house by an enchanting courtyard where a peaceful 'sundowner' could be enjoyed. Owner, Lauren, is very gracious and welcoming. We were introduced to her 'amenity room' where snacks, soft drinks and wine were always available to guests. And just wait to see her specially prepared breakfasts in the morning! My wife and I will make a bee-line for this place when next in that part of the USA.

Luxury in Flagstaff

Posted Jun 27, 2012
Pros: Large bathroom with whirlpool bath. Delicious breakfasts. Spacious room with your own front door leading to a courtyard.
Cons: nothing
Location: Easy to find. Great base for Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater and Lowell Observatory.
The B&B was really helpful even before we arrived by emailing very precise directions. We were upgraded to the Ponderosa room which was beautifully furnished. A lovely luxurious large bathroom with really good quality fittings and comfy bathrobes. The B&B is set in a beautiful quiet location but is also really handy for Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater and the Lowell Observatory. Delicious breakfast which will set you up for the day. They have a guest room where you can help yourself to ice, cold soft drinks and also wine in the afternoons. Every day there were surprise nibbles in your room. You feel more like a member of the family than a guest.

Great place to stay very quiet!

Location: I like the way this B & B was tucked away in a residential area and yet it was so quiet.
The Bed and Breakfast was super. Our every need was met and the food was always presented in an appetizing way. I would recommend the Connifer House to anyone. The breakfasts were different each day and delicious.

Lauren is a great hostess. The breakfasts were magnificent!1 I had special dietary considerations and she knocked herself out to try to accommodate me.In three days I became spoiled by the room, the food, and ambience. I will be back and i will tell my friends and family to stay here.

Cozy Hideaway

My husband and I celebrated our 24 wedding anniversary. We have never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before the Conifer House. It was a wonderful experience and one we will definitely be doing again. This is a cozy little retreat that is close to old downtown flag and near the NAU campus and only 6 miles to Snowbowl.
