Room smelled of smoke-was supposed to be smokefree. Dust bunnies hanging from ceiling, doors all scuffed up, squeaking floors/ceiling, run down. Not at all as promised or pictured.

Nice Hotel in Flagstaff

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: It was easily accessible to the Interstate. It also is close to services.
Cons: Breakfast needs to improved on and consistent. Not sure what can be done about the room, but that takes people being patient based on the space.
Location: Lowell Observatory, Downtown Flagstaff, Meteor Crater, and we made the drive to Petrified Forest National Park.
Can not complain about our stay at this hotel. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our time there. Room was clean, heat worked and we had TV/internet. It was nice to have a pool and hot tub to enjoy. The hotel offers a breakfast, but I would say it was adequate. Selection is limited, with the waffles, scrambled eggs, bread, donuts and the days we were there they alternated between sausage and fried potatoes. Space is limited in the dining area which seemed to put a stress on people staying in the hotel. Hotel is outside the downtown area of Flagstaff, but within an easy drive of the activity of the town.

Fake curtains

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Couldn't close the curtains on the window, so it was difficult to sleep. Other than that, great place to stop and sleep or if you're passing through.

Nice hotel at reasonable price

Posted Jan 4, 2015
We got a "remodel" room, with new door, window, granite counter, faucet, and toilet. Room, towels, and linens are clean. The bed, however, is too soft, and moves like a waterbed. Breakfast is pretty good, with good quality bread, oatmeal, fresh milk, fruits, and waffles. Staff is friendly, but hotel doesn't have any ice or water faucet for drinking. For the price we paid, we were content with the overall room and hotel experience.

Nice pet-friendly hotel

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean
Cons: Microwave in room would be nice.
Location: Great location close to I-40 and Route 66.
We weren't sure what to expect with this hotel b/c we've never taken the family puppy with us on vacation. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel. Staff was friendly and always helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and in good condition. Location of hotel was good for ease of access to Flagstaff's activities. For the price, we were pleasantly surprised. Included hot breakfast each morning. The only (small) convenience we would have preferred is a microwave in the room, but we were allowed to use the microwave in the kitchen area, so we made it work. Can't thank the staff enough for accommodating our requests for our fancy dog. They were wonderful.

Just too far from Grand Canyon

Posted Jan 1, 2015
Everything is perfect except the location for Grand Canyon visitors. One and a half hour's drive is too far

We stayed here while visiting the Grand Canyon

We loved the queen sized beds and it was convenient having a sink outside the bathroom. Nice park within walking distance for an early morning walk. Breakfast was very tasty with sausage patties, egg and cheese omelettes, toast, muffins, cereal, yogurt, and waffles. Indoor pool and warm jacuzzi were nice. Staff were very friendly.

Low class hotel

Posted Dec 24, 2014
Our room was on the first floor next to the lobby and the lobby was very noisy to the point that we could not sleep. The bedsheets were not changed by the maintenance crew, they were just straightened. The bedsheets had holes in them and stains on the covers. Parking is also limited. Not a big variety of breakfast. The staff made no attempt at accommodating our horrible stay.

Pros: Hot breakfast, clean, helpful staff.
This is a nice budget hotel but it sits right next to train tracks, and there are loud trains that pass by all during the night. I am a light sleeper and the trains going by all night long blaring their horns constantly woke me up.
