Nice motel close to fair ground

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Location to main roads and the horse venue at the fairgrounds.
Cons: The breakfast area and food. A swimming pool. The garbage truck that comes at 5am and dumps I-HOP's garbage!!!
Location: Close to major hi ways (89-A, inter-state 40 and 17) so very easy to go on day trips. We took one afternoon and visited the Grand Canyon.
The room was clean and the temperature could be controlled easily. Easy access to main roads and interstate. Disappointed that there was no swimming pool. The breakfast area and food was poor. It was a good place to sleep but not a great place to hang out especially if you have children.

Hotel is old but it is clean and the beds are comfortable... If you are looking to stay for a couple of nights it's worth it ... We were driving to NC and stopped for the night... The guy who checked us in was friendly but the overnight employee acted like we were bothering him when we went to ask questions. Washer and dryer is from the 90's and the dryer did not dry my clothes even though I paid 3 times ... Overall ok place to stay for the price.

Good value

Posted Jul 11, 2014
We stayed at the Days Inn July 3-4 and found everything to be fine. It's a good value and the location is convenient to Interstates 40 and 17. I would stay at the Days Inn again.

Good place to stay...

Location: The Grand Canyon!
This is a good place to stay. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Large rooms. Serves breakfast. This was our home-base for visiting the Grand Canyon.

The stay was fine. Our room had a fridge and a microwave in it, which was great for us. You could tell the hotel was a bit older, but overall everything was good.

will never reserve a Day's Inn again.

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: Not much
Cons: Bed, cleanliness, keeping people out ot the hallways, sort of makes it intimidating when you check in.
after driving for 13 hours my husband wanted a room that was comfortable and clean for him and our son. He pulled up and there were people partying in the hallway, and in the parking lot. He said the place was not very clean and just not very comfortable and that we should never stay at a Day's Inn again.

We would stay again

The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable. There was no external noise. Quiet. We did not eat the breakfast because there was an IHOP next door. We felt very comfortable.

Hotel had easy assess to nearby stores/restaurants

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Cons: The hotel television needs to be updated.
The room I stayed in, the door would not close properly (had to lift the door up to close it...the deadbolt would not work as well). The bed was not comfortable. TV needs to be updated. Lighting was poor at night...lamps were okay for usage. Easy excess to local stores/eating places; and convenient location.
