Nice hotel but firm beds

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: The room was big with two queen beds.
Cons: The mattress were too hard
Location: We were in town to move our daughter into NAU. Enjoyed some very good restaurants while visiting.
The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was very spacious. My only complaint would be the hard beds.

OK

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: I think it would help if there was a travel information desk or someone that could plan tours, etc. instead of just being handed phone numbers.
Location: Location is excellent. Lots of things to do, all within approximately 30 miles.
My experience was pleasant. The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to restaurants, shopping, downtown, interstates, etc. The hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating.

Great Hotel in a lovely location

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Staff were so helpful.
Great hotel and staff at hotel couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms were clean and beds really comfy and couldn't fault them.We only stopped one night but definitely would have liked to stop longer. Great location for Grand Canyon, we also went to the Meteor Crater too which for the "boys" was, like Billy Connolly said, was the best too.

A great spot after our visit to the Grand Canyon!

Pros: Decor, cleanliness and location.
Location: Flagstaff is not a vacation spot, just a pleasant stopover.
We were travelling with our grandchildren. We enjoyed our stopover in Flagstaff.

Nice decor

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: nice decor, fairly quiet.
Cons: If they are going to give out cooking they could be fresher.
The first room I was given (418) had 'view' of a wall when I advised the front desk this wouldn't work they moved me to a better room. I like that the windows actually open so one can have fresh air as opposed to the AC air.

The room service/breakfast place food should be avoided, but they gave us like 20 free cookies that were really really good...

2 nights 7/2 & 7/3

Pros: Hotel staff understands meaning of word service
Cons: They rocked
Construction in main lobby but the hotel staff exceeded our expectations with a cot for our son who had a cold, bringing microwave to our room and proving complementary gatorade for our son. Hotel mgt and staff went above call of duty by inquiring about our son and always having smiles on their faces. What a joy to stay at this property. Pool , hottub, weight room all top notch. Will stay here next time we pass thru town.

A Good Choice for Flagstaff, Arizona

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: A real Dining Room and real Utensils that were not plastic
Location: The hotel is on route 66 so one can easily get to downtown. It is at the gateway to the Grand Canyon as well as Indian Country
At least this chain does not rely on plastic utensils and paper plates for breakfast but then it is not automatically included in the room rate either. The staff was nice and helpful though our food was delivered in the sushi Bar by someone in a filthy shirt which kind of put us off though the sushi and tempura were quite good. There was only an outdoor pool which was strange for a place that gets lots of snow in Winter and its share of rain at other times of the year. The equipment in the exercise room was very good. Of course, all these chains have paper thin walls so when someone bathes one thinks they are using our bathroom and the air conditioning fan was quite loud.

Good, clean, close to many restaurants. We stayed only one night, but nothing special to report.
