Close to NAU and eateries on strip.

Okay for a night, but day two the maid had not replenished the coffee, coffee cup or coffee supplies and the soap. Price was right. Small continental breakfast area in lobby. Only fruit was apples.

Very friendly staff

Couldn't get internet access. The long curtain blocked the flow of the heat and we were chilly. There was no blanket on the bed or tucked away. Blankets definitely needed.

Nice stay.

Aside from train noise at 2 am, which I would have had at any motel in the area, it was quiet and comfortable.

Economical Stay between Sedona & Grand Canyon

Posted Mar 5, 2015
Pros: The location & the friendly, helpful staff. They gave us a different room, because the odor in the first room was even worse.
Cons: Cleaning products do not have to have strong chemical based scents. Essential oils make healthier scents, & enzyme cleaners work great on pet stains.
Location: Flagstaff is in between Sedona & the Grand Canyon. This was a perfect location for seeing those 2 places.
The price was right, & the newly renovated room was nice. However, the odor of whatever was used to clean the carpet was very strong, & we felt somewhat asphyxiated. We survived by running the HVAC on low heat all night, along w/ the exhaust fan in the bathroom.

This hotel will be nice once they finish remodeling and get the place cleaned up. The beds are extremely firm. Otherwise great price and location.

Mean Manager

Posted Feb 23, 2015
I made a mistake and reserved online for the night before. It was a simple click mistake on my computer. When I arrived (a day late) the manager told me and the front desk staff that I was a "No Show" the night before and would have to pay full price again. The hotel was empty and there would have been no problem with them letting me stay. I was wearing a VFW jacket and pointed out that there should be some consideration for an old war veteran. I think that just made her madder. Good news, I called EXPEDIA and they sent a voucher to the hotel so I could stay the night. Thanks EXPEDIA and No Thanks Days Inn Chino Valley AZ.

Refrigerator, flat-screen TV with 33 channels, comfortable bed. However, two problems arose during my stay. Heater would not function correctly, and message light on telephone kept lighting up.
