Great location and employeesPosted Jul 3, 2015
From beginning to end the staff made the experience wonderful. It'seems a historic hotel so expect a historic hotel with all the old fashioned charm!

Good hotel, in good locationPosted Jul 1, 2015
Pros: The history and location. Very convenient for free parking
Cons: Not much really, due to the hotel / building being very old. Probably not much scope to increase the room sizes without losing some of the rooms.
Location: Williams is a good sized town, with shops and restaurants. Downside is that it takes an hour to get to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
First time I've ever been able to choose my room, on arrival. Novel idea. Because the hotel is so old, the rooms we had a choice from, were quite small, but OK. We stayed 3 nights, and were fine. Hotel staff very friendly and knowledgable.

Historic HotelPosted Jun 24, 2015
Old hotel that has been renovated in its period style. Railway noise most of the night.

Weary in WilliamsPosted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly. It had a great location.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable. My husband slept in the floor. The bed linens were worn and I'm not sure of there cleanliness.
Location: Located in the middle of town.
Was told no air conditioning would not be a problem. It was a real problem. Hot and sticky night!

Nettes Hotel mitten in WilliamsPosted Jun 20, 2015

Extremely clean, the motel is old and feels like someone's house though. Staff is friendly and helpful. Family owned feel

Übernachtung in einem MuseumPosted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: Das historische Ambiente und die Freundlichkeit der Betreiber.
Cons: Die Betten ermöglichen keinen erholsamen Schlaf.

Horrible!!!Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Total remodel.
I checked out of the Grand Canyon Hotel after only one night as we where very unhappy with the accommodations. The rooms was not very clean. I found hair (from someone else) in my bed. My daughter's smelled badly. The room was so dark with no windows, very little space to move around, and although it had 4 twin beds and a double (giving us plenty of room to sleep) the beds where extremely uncomfortable. All of this I could have lived with, had I not been kept awake all night by the noise coming from other occupants of the hotel. The people in the room above us where awake all night walking loudly, talking, and what seemed like dropping and moving furniture. There is is no sound insulation in this hotel. I didn't sleep all night. I looked at the clock at 10 pm, midnight, 2:30 am, 5:30 am, still moving furniture, stomping, and dropping!! I can't begin to imagine what was actually going on. The thought of staying in this room, with no tv, no windows, no where to move, not very clean, and loud noise for one more minute made me want to never stay in another hotel again. It was more like a camp than a hotel. I paid the same amount of money for same number of people to sleep in an amazing luxury hotel in Vegas the two nights before. I am still trying to get my money back for the night we didn't stay. So far, all I have been offered is a free night in the future. You must be kidding!

Lovely historic Route 66 hotelPosted Jun 12, 2015
Staying here for a night on the old route 66 is a true American experience. We loved the old timey decor. It's fantastic value too. Soak up the history! Fantastic.
