Unique Place to Stay

Posted Mar 21, 2015
Pros: Amy is a delightful host. The uniqueness and history of the hotel made the stay wonderfully different from ordinary hotel/motel stays.
It's like walking back into time. Quiet, relaxing place to stay while touring the Grand Canyon or exploring around Williams, AZ.

We loved the hotel. Very vintage but comfortable. A blast from the past! We could walk to the train station and to all the restaurants in the area. The hostess, Amy was delightful and we enjoyed visiting with her.

Posted Nov 30, 2014

Back to the basics

Posted Nov 24, 2014 on Hotels.com

A must-stay hotel to put up your feet!

Posted Nov 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed here for one night on my way back to Phoenix from the Grand Canyon on a 9 day vacation by myself as a young professional single female. Upon arrival I was greeted by 2 friendly staff who were so relaxed yet professional which gave an air of comfort right away! I was then able to pick my room for the night from all available rooms that night. It was THE most FUN experience as all rooms are decorated with different motifs so I got to explore the entire hotel as was wowed every corner I turned. The best I can describe this hotel was that it mimics a gigantic bed and breakfast but with no breakfast. Super quaint with lots of personality.

Gateway to the Grand Canyon and Route 66.

The hosts are really charming and very helpful and the rooms are decorated with wonderful, authentic collections of memorabilia. However, rooms are small, so don't plan to spend a lot of time in them. Also, mattress lacked support - very uncomfortable for 2 people. Be aware that there is no elevator and climbing stairs at 5,000+ feet is no small feat! Overall, we loved the hosts and the ambiance. Williams is a great place to visit!
