Pros: Wifi worked ok. Classic cars at the general store were fun for the kids to look at.
Cons: Security of exterior doors, comfort of beds, cleanliness of table, cleanliness of sink, lack of towels, etc all need improving.
Despite its listing, hotel is not in Williams. Place is old, run down, but I guess is an upgrade from Fred Flintstone Land across the street. Stay only if impossible to find anything in GC or Tusayan below $250 or can't drive to Williams or Flagstaff.

Location: The hotel is about 25 minutes from the south entrance to the Grand Canyon. There is a huge gift shop next door that has a Grand Canyon & 1950's theme.
The room was very quaint, clean and comfortable, especially for the price paid. The hotel had a lot of nice western and Grand Canyon decor, which was fun. The room that we stayed in was down the road from the main hotel, so wifi signal was not strong enough to use effectively, and we had to drive to breakfast (which was not included in the price).

Avoid, if possiblePosted Jul 16, 2014
Poor quality lodging, somewhat rude staff. Questionable cleanliness, run-down rooms. One should not be fooled by the presence of a pool, it is not maintained. Only advantage is proximity to Grand Canyon.

20-30 Minutes from the Grand Canyon South RimPosted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: It's closeness to the Grand Canyon.
Cons: It is time for the carpets to be upgraded. However, don't get me wrong...there were NO holes or bare patches.
Location: There is a gift shop/gas station/rock store/vintage cars in the same parking lot as the hotel. The Airplane museum across the street was fun.
I was a little shocked to learn there is $200 credit hold on your credit card when you check in but it released almost immediately when we checked out so it became a "non-issue". The carpet in the room was a little worn but we were very pleased with the room and rest room. It's close proximity to the Grand Canyon was really nice. We were able to beat the crowds to the Visitor Center. The attached restaurant was also nice and I really wish we had breakfast there, on our first day, instead of McDonald's!

Not what I expectedPosted Jul 13, 2014
Cons: Add laundry facilities and also add microwaves to rooms.
Location: see write up
This hotel was listed as being in Williams AZ when in fact it is 30 miles north of Williams in Valle AZ. The hotel has no real amentities to speak of. I paid for a room with 2 queen beds but was placed ina room with two double beds. There is nothing in the vicinity and although a 40 minute drive from the Grand Canyon you could go another 30 miles north of this location and find a number of hotels to choose from with fast food and other restaurants in walking distance along with free shuttle service to the canyon. We traveled with young children and I would not recommend this hotel because there really is nothing for them to do at this location. On top of this I paid for my room with an advance reservation but when I checked in I was charged an additional $200.00 deposit for damage coverage (which I have since had released back to me) but was totally not expecting this charge. Other hotels I checked into during my trip charged me between 10 and 20 dollars but not 200! The bottom line I would not recommend this hotel and do not plan to stay here in the future.

Nice hotel, few amenitiesPosted Jul 12, 2014
Nice hotel, 20 miles from Grand Canyon park entrance, so not too bad. No microwave and terrible in-room coffee. But A/C worked well and the mini fridge/freezer worked. The restaurant was great and the staff very friendly. Would go back.

nice hotel to far from every thingPosted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Rates were reasonable
Cons: update all rooms
Location: This place is 30 minutes away from anything in either direction
I booked two days then decided to book one more a couple hours later this was in Feb my stay was in July. This couple of hours evidently changed my room that last night. I had no idea I had to change rooms that morning and the hotel didn't notice when I checked in that I had 3 nights. I was thirty minutes away when they called me to tell me I had to check out when I told them I had 3 nights they couldn't find my reservation. I had to call expedia to clear it up but still had to move rooms the first one was upstairs the second one was downstairs. Plus I had to drive back from Williams 30 minutes away to change rooms. The address for this hotel was Williams but is actually in Valle 30 minutes either way from any thing. So if you stay there make sure you have the same room every night before you go anywhere. Some rooms where up dated my friends where in another room the sink leaked and the air conditioner was old and didn't keep the room cool enough.

Pros: So close to the Grand Canyon very clean , beds were very nice the deco was very cool
Cons: Leave more cream and sugar and coffee for guest
Location: Enjoyed the Fred Flintstone bed rock and the Indian trading post was cool and rocks and more
