Family vacation

Unfriendly attitude when asking for extra sleeping material. Bathroom toilet seat is broken. Room is smelly. The bathroom floor is cracked. Very bad quality internet connection. A really bad experience in general. Expectation doesnt live up to its name; 2/10

Quaint yet convenient for the local.

We enjoyed our stay, however there were some drawbacks. The hotel's design was akin to a maze, with older facilities. It was close to the train station which was a major plus if visiting the grand canyon by train. Williams, AZ. has a very delightful small town atmosphere with an Old West flare on historic Route 66!

Fair price and close to canyon

Posted Jun 26, 2014
High- walking distance to Williams, and about an hour and a half to the canyon. Fair prices for time of year. plenty of places to eat near by, close to highway and gas. Average- facility is average, but nicely kept. Low- tv reception wasn't the best, but if your in Williams your probably not spending much time in the room. Pub-tavern foods was good, but understaffed and slow. Train tracks is right behind the hotel, so if your a light sleeper keep the fan running, but you should expect that as the name says it all....

Way overpriced!

This hotel was not worth the money. The staff were not very friendly or helpful, not a good first impression. I will not be back!

Average at best.

We stayed at this hotel because of their train trips to the Grand Canyon. Which was spectacular!! Nothing particularly outstanding or bad about our stay at this hotel. The hotel was clean. The staff was nice but not overly helpful. That's about it. The worst thing was old scratchy towels at the pool.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was decent as well. It was convenient to wake up and hop on the train without any driving to do to get to the canyon. Reasonably priced brunch, would not recommend dinner though.
