Good motel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Clean, not too noisy, within walking distance of places to eat and drink in the evening, easy access to highway and across the road from gas station and supermarket. Free coffee, and laundry facilities! Good place to stop off during our road trip.

More like a motel than a hotel

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Felt like a motel. We stayed 3 nights. Owner was friendly. Room was clean. Nothing great, but it was a good room for the price.

A basic no frills motel

Posted Aug 21, 2014
The rooms are musty and on the small side for one adult and two kids, but they did have a fridge and microwave which was a plus. Pretty minimal comfort, but friendly staff and good location for downtown Flagstaff. Ok for at most two nights - we stayed three.

Bathroom "exhaust" fan

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Bed was OK; I've slept in MUCH WORSE in Flagstaff.
Cons: See comments re: the bathroom exhaust fan--
Location: The location was fine; a nice family restaurant was within half a block.
Only one thing bothered me; that was the bathroom "exhaust" fan, which was TOO LOUD! I don't think any fan of that type has to be THAT LOUD to be EFFICIENT! Such "noise pollution" is UNACCEPTABLE! In conclusion, that LOUD FAN will DEFINITELY insure I won't return.

Pros: Very clean.
Location: Close to AMTRAK and downtown Flagstaff.
We actually arrived a little earlier than expected, but they were able to accommodate an early arrival.

Clean with all of the basics

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Stayed here to drive an hour and 15 minutes to the Grand Canyon, which was a pretty easy drive. Went out to some bars in Flagstaff in the evening, which was within walking distance. As students on a budget, this was a fair hotel for the price.

Nice place and good location

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: The room was clean and spacious, the linens and towels were fresh and new feeling, and the room had brand new carpet. Refrigerator/microwave in room.
Cons: A few very things, such as burned out lightbulbs and ridiculously loud bathroom fan.
Location: Old Town Flagstaff was within easy and safe walking distance (20ish minutes).
We were passing though Flagstaff and needed a room to stay for one night. Everything went smoothly - there were no issues.

It's OK, nothing more, nothing less

Posted Aug 9, 2014
Pros: Clean, easy to get to from highway
Cons: Front desk service was stoic
Location: Grand Canyon Sedona
We stayed 2 nights here as a jumping point to the Grand Canyon (1 hour away) and Sedona (30 mins away). It was actually depressing to return to this dark motel in the evenings, located at a busy intersection, because we saw such jaw-dropping beauty in the daytime. That being said, we weren't in the position to pay $250-$300 to stay near the Grand Canyon, so this was our best option. It's a basic motel, u-shaped, with free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby. I plan to return to Sedona, and will stay in Sedona, not here.

Pros: Microwave in room
Location: Good location
Very small room. Bed sheets were no longer white; clean but very old
