Just good hotel. Not fancy, but clean.

Pros: Clean
Cons: Maybe a little maintenance.
Good location and good breakfast. The only thing is that if you stay on the first floor you will hear everything from the floor above.

Not the best and not the worst.

Pros: The food was amazing.
Cons: Fix the broken items.
Our stay was mediocre at best. Expedia allowed us to reserve a room that didn't fit our family but they corrected the situation and upgraded us to a better room at no cost. The problem was the room had a broken heater in one of the room and was also missing the weather stripping on the door which allowed cold air to pour into the room. Staff was notified about the situation and said they would fix it but did not. Then when they came to clean the room they took all towels and left us with one bath towel so we were unable to shower I the morning. The room itself was comfortable and the breakfast was great. A gentleman named Adrian made sure each family had what they needed. He was the shining star of the facility. I was told the manager would call me back about the problems I had but she never did.

Hello, I apologize that your concerns on the heating unit and the cold air getting inside of your room during your stay were not immediately resolved. I will send request to verify what took place that our maintenance staff was not readily available. I am glad though that the shortcoming of our housekeeping staff in replenishing your towels were taken care of by Adrian indeed, our Knight in Shining Armor during your stay. I will remind the manager about the call that was promised to you, I am sure this is just an isolated oversight. Thank you for staying with us and for bearing with our shortcomings during your stay. Hotel booking on the fly.

Grabbed this hotel on our way into Flagstaff. Easy to find on historic route 66. Breakfast was included but as the hotel was busy we passed on that and headed for Starbucks. Very popular with families. It is an older property, could do with a tidy up here and there but perfectly fine for a night's rest on the fly.

A step removed from camping

No wifi, no tv, staff didn't tell us immediately where to pick up bus, directions around facility poor due to lack of signage. We got out after one night.

the staff was very very nice :-)unfortunately the room is very dirty, there were hairs all over the bathroom floor all over the bed that were not ours. The refrigerator in the room was half falling out of the cubby it was in, we could barely get it to plug in. The workout facility and the jacuzzi we're both under construction which we found out at check in. Those were some of the reasons we booked for that hotel, so we were very disappointed to find out we could not use them, they should have posted that information on their website for customers to know before booking.again the staff was so friendly and so nice, but we were not happy with our room or the fact that we were not able to use the facilities we were hoping to get out of our stay.

Save yourself and find a different hotel.

Pros: The breakfast.
Cons: Clean the grounds, actually repair walls, ceilings, lamps, etc. Make the heating/AC units and TV systems more comprehensible.
1. Near train tracks. 2. Lamp not working. 3. Fridge so loud that it woke us up. 4. Garbage strewn outside on hotel grounds. 5. There is a difference between a repair and painting over what needs to be repaired. 6. Problems with the TV. 7. Problems with the heating/AC unit. 8. Not enough parking. 9. Rented two rooms. One had blankets and the other did not. 10. Way overpriced for the sub-par accommodations.

Pleasant Hotel.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and the breakfast and social hour were very good.
Location: Good restaurants nearby.
The Hotel Aspen staff was very courteous and helpful. I asked for directions and a good place to eat dinner and the staff provided excellent recommendations. The breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the social hour. It was overall a good experience.

Good price, breakfast is good, rooms are hit or miss. Have stayed about 10 times and 6 of those times the room was good. The other 4 times AC/Heat doesn't work right, shower won't drain, tv old or does not work right. Last stay snow and wind were pretty intense so we stayed at hotel for most of that afternoon/evening, but no working vending machines to get drinks. We asked if they could just sell us some water, but no luck. Overall it is what you expect for a low budget hotel stay.

Last minute and desperate

Pros: It was available and was ok just for a place to crash for a few hours.
Cons: Needs renovated.
Location: Too close to the train tracks for our liking. We were just travelling through and didn't do anything in Flagstaff.
We got a really good price through Expedia, but found the room was a disappointment. It worked in a pinch and for the price it was ok. The place was close to a train track. The wife counted 10 trains passing by from about 10p.m. to 7a.m. One of the bed sheets had dirt on it. If you are desperate this room will work, but if you have time to arrange for another I would do so. The front door had space at the bottom; you could see light coming through it. Not enough towels and there were only 3 of us.
