Close to many parks.

Pros: restaurant attached. It had good food at reasonable prices
Location: visited the Grand Canyon and Walnut Canyon
Booked for 2 nights but only stayed one. When I checked out was told I would not get a refund because it was booked through Expedia and I would have to get a refund from them. This seemed rather odd

Excellent Surprise

Pros: The restaurant is great and the rooms are very nice.
Cons: I recommend that if you stay here leave the a/c fan on all night to reduce the train noise.
I was in Flagstaff on business and decided to stay at this Howard Johnson due to the excellent rate and the restaurant. The room was very nice and comfortable. Definitely the nicest Howard Johnson that I have stayed in.

One night business trip

Pros: quick check-in
Cons: friendlier staff
Location: on a major street but was not there on liesure so I didn't explore.
It was an ok place to stay on a one night business trip. The front desk was friendly but not much for conversation. Everything was organized and was a fast check-in because it was already prepared for when I got there. The hotel was very old but the room was pretty clean. I heard the train very load in the evening but I was so tired that I did not get waken up by it during the night. I wouldn't recommend it but I would also not say it was an awful place to stay.

Cheap starting to update but needs a ways to go

Staff was not friendly at all. We came back after a long day out and our room had not been clean. It was 9:00 pm

Nice hotel but too close to the train

Place was ok but the train comes by every 5 min or so.

We did not stay even though the room was paid for. The property was supposed to be renovated but it was not.
