Walking in my wife found hair...Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and very good breakfast.
Cons: Clean the carpet and rooms first!!! The breakfast could be better organized with cereal, oatmeal, bowls, and spoons together.
Location: Coco's right across the street with very good food and a great Smokehouse BBQ down the street and awesome beauty all around you.
Walking in my wife found hair behind the bathroom door and hair on her pillows and a large number of stains on the carpet... likely because it's a pet friendly hotel? The desk people were very friendly and helpful, but the condition of the room canceled out their efforts! A minor problem at the breakfast bar keeps one walking back and forth for oatmeal, bowls and spoons; it could be better organized.

Staff was unfriendly, hotel elevator broke down and had to walk up & down 4 flights of stairs. The following day I was out and i came back at 5:00pm and my room had not been cleaned. The cleaning staff came by at 5:30 and wanted to clean it. I was to tired and wanted to relax so the room didn't get cleaned.

Everything was OK. Had a little trouble checking in, staff did not cleary explain things and kind of just beat around the bush instead of telling me clearly.

Average hotelPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: nice jacuzzi, swimming pool, friendly stuff on the reception
Location: a lot of restaurants close by
Noisy heater in the room, no body-wash, no normal shampoo and conditioner (it's 2 in one, bad quality), no body lotion as a toiletry supply (bring your own if you book that hotel)... Breakfast selection is below average... bad quality coffee etc. not enough parking spots

Pleasant StayPosted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff, good furnishings, good control over room temps
Location: Northern Arizona University is in close proximity, which makes it ideal for concert attendance, sporting events, or special events held there.
We arrived in Flagstaff with just enough time to check into our room before the concert at NAU that evening. I was pleased with the cleanliness and the appearance of the grounds and the lobby. I was greeted right away by the hotel staff and was 2nd in line for assistance. Since I had prepaid with Expedia, I was checked into our room in just minutes! The room perfect and comfortable. The complimentary Wi-Fi was fantastic and useful. We didn't even need a password to use it. The breakfast buffet - also complimentary, offered many healthy choices and a few favorites as well. There was plenty of food and comfortable seating for all the guests. We had a pleasant stay and will be back again.

Hide-A-Way hotelPosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Quiet, comfortable room. Beautiful location.
Cons: Just needs some minor cosmetic updates in the stairwell area
Location: Flagstaff is beautiful and has lots to do with the Arts. If you enjoy theater, music, and great food. It's a great place to visit.
A little hard to find but we really liked it. Nice room and the pool/out door table area was nice. Wish I had more time to spend there as it was quite and out of the way yet close enough to get to the beautiful old town area.

beware of petsPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: staff friendly nice breakfast, coco's right across the street. nice location near freeway
Cons: make area for dogs can relieve themselves people are using the side and flower beds for poop stations
we were not aware of pets allowed of course we love pets have a cat, but a lady let her pet bulldog go number 2 right in front of elevator in main hallway and just walked away my husband had to return to room and call main desk and report the very large deposit that was left this of course is no fault of la quinta they cleaned the mess up rather fast also dog droppings outside main door in flower bed we were on our way down for breakfast its disappointing my husband was grossed out and said never again this is the only thing that will prevent us from ever returning.
