Good for people traveling with pets.

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: The hotel was close to NAU and the freeway.
Cons: They need to put refrigerators in the rooms.
We didn't realize this was a total "pet friendly" hotel. Since we have allergies, we almost had to go stay at another hotel. The staff was very nice about it and offered to help us find another hotel, but last minute prices were not realistic. We took lots of allergy med's and tried to stay out of the room as much as possible. The room was clean enough, but pet dander sticks around. They don't allow pets in the pool area, which was a plus. If you are in need of a hotel that takes pets, this one is OK.

Front desk refused to give us a receipt.

Posted Jul 2, 2015
Pros: Location and appearance.
Cons: Train your front desk personnel. Make it clear to dog owners that barking will not be tolerate.
Location: Good location but too far to walk to old town. Lots of things to do in Flagstaff.
This was a business trip and the front desk refused to give me a receipt with my name, amount paid and showing a zero due. They claimed that since the reservation was made by a third party they could not print the receipt because they were not allowed to see what we paid. I have now stayed at two other La Quintas and each time received the correct receipt with my name - John Nellis, the amount charged, the amount paid on my credit card and showing a zero balance. Don't know what is wrong with the front desk staff in Flagstaff but I must have this proper receipt. The Hotel was also extremely noisy with dogs barking at 5am. My own two yellow labs never made a sound the entire time we were there but I was always with them. At all the other La Quintas I have stayed at have a full hot breakfast and the overall cost is less.

Pros: Pets stay free, no hidden fees.
Cons: No, very nice location and friendly stff
This is a very nice hotel and is in a good location. I had no problems here and like very much that LaQuntia does not charge a fee for pets.

The rooms were not very soundproof so we heard fellow guests throughout the night. Our room was not ready when we came to check in at 4pm even though check-in was at 3pm. None of the drink vending machines worked or had stock in them. I expected a little more for the price. We've stayed at the Embassy Suites before and would recommend that over the La Quinta. It was a great location however and the room was spacious.

It was an uneventful, pleasant stay. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. (I don't prefer pillow top mattresses, but it was alright for one night.) Staff was courteous and quick. I'd go back again.

Clean rooms, great staff, not stocked

Posted Jun 22, 2015
We stayed there after our visit to Grabd Canyon and it was packed. All the vending machines were out of drinks and the next morning the breakfast didn't stay stocked. They were out of so much, we ended up going to Starbucks to grab a bite. The staff was very friendly and had water available since the machines were out.
