Great Value Grand Canyon StayPosted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: First La Quinta we've stayed at with an elevator
Cons: Was unable to stay for breakfast, so not sure
Location: The location is very convenient for the many attractions and activities close to this area, i.e., Grand Canyon, Sedona, Meteor Crater, Painted Desert
Although our stay was brief, room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Only problem was the tub did not drain well (forgot to mention at check-out). Staff is always friendly, helpful and accomodating

pet friendly but poor condition hotelPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: I was able to bring my dog.
Cons: the outside needs an overhaul and maybe someone keeping a better eye outside to catch those who do not pick up after their pets.
Location: We visited Sadona which is a short drive and Grand Canyon. There is lots to see there so it was a good location.
I was very happy that I could bring my dog. It seemed everyone had a dog. For being pet friendly I was dissapointed that there was no specific place to bring your dog. they did provide doggy bags but some people did not use them. The hotel was run down and it is in need of some repair. I opted to spend more money hoping for a nicer hotel but was dissapointed in that. On the other hand, the breakfast was good and we enjoyed the variety. The front end staff was very friendly too.

Pros: It was very conveniently located near everything we needed: gas stations, highways, eateries.
Cons: Amenities in the rooms were a bit dated and for a king sized bed (we have one at home) it wasn't exactly what we had hoped for but still adequate
My husband and I were looking for a place that we could stay with our dogs. We've taken countless trips and felt badly about leaving to our fur babies with someone yet again so we decided on our first road trip with all of our entire family, furry and all! It was a great location for us between visiting the Grand Canyon and Sedona, a kind of home base if you will. The staff were friendly and we loved the make-your-own-waffle machine for breakfast. Where our room was was perfect because we only had one room next door and the other side of the room was some sort of storage area for housekeeping...I think. So it was relatively quiet.

Cons: A refrigerator in the room, better breakfast with meat and eggs, and faster internet.
Location: Good location
Hotel was clean but water didn't stay hot long enough for a shower. They did offer breakfast but it wasn't to our liking. Other hotels that we've stayed in that offer free breakfast also have eggs and meat as an option. Internet was extremely slow.

The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was really good. We liked it so much we left our next hotel and went to a La Quinta.

We enjoyed our four day stay. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. We met some fun people and their dogs.
