High class motel in a beautiful location

Posted Jul 3, 2015
On our three week trip we stayed in eleven different motels. This one was the best. We only stayed one night, so our experience was limited to the motel itself. The food was great, the staff was friendly and courteous, the room was clean and well appointed. It was a little more expensive than the average for our trip, but it was well worth it. We will definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel with great facilities

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Beautiful setting; access to major tourist attractions such as Sedona, the Lowell Observatory, and the Grand Canyon; courteous and efficient staff.
Location: Sedona, Lowell Observatory, Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest.
The hotel is really excellent, with a beautiful setting, great facilities and extremely friendly, courteous staff. The pool is situated amid mature trees, and the nature trail roams through 500 acres of beautiful forest. The restaurant and bar area are pleasant, relaxing places to unwind after a day's travel. We left some clothing in our room in the rush to leave Flagstaff but a phone call to the hotel was all that was needed to remedy the situation. The clothes were packed and delivered to our home in Washington DC within two days. Excellent service!

Nice surprise

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: Location, room, setting
Location: A short ride or medium walk away is a restaurant called Black Bart's which has singing waiters. Very enjoyable.
We stopped there twice and both times were very pleasant. The hotel is right off Highway 40 but you don't hear it or see it. The room was large and recently redone. The hotel is in the middle of pine trees which make it feel like it's far from everything.

Nicest hotel in Flagstaff

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds. The sign outside and part of the lobby looks a bit dated, but the rooms are modern and comfortable, and the staff is excellent.

Great Motel

Posted Jun 19, 2015
Pros: It's close to downtown and hiking areas. Very relaxing and quiet.
Location: We enjoyed the historic district, Walnut Canyon, Snowbowl and Sunset Crater.
The rooms are big and clean, grounds are well kept and pool and spa are large. The staff was very helpful suggesting places to eat and things to do.
