TREAT YOURSELF AT LITTLE AMERICA

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: The ambiance, the dining, the room was older French Provencial sort of looking but quite large and comfortable.
Cons: A bit disconcerting having the fridge in the bathroom directly across from the toilet; I would move it into the room.
Location: Lots to do... north is the Sunset Vocano lava fields and several incredible Indian ruins-a nice circle tour. Meteor Crater is about 45 minutes east
This was our first time to northern Arizona and the Flagstaff area. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed it. After a day visiting nearby sites we lounged in the lounge over Irish coffees. The place is enormous but unfortunately it rained during our stay and we were not able to explore the grounds. The food here is heavenly and priced quite nicely though the cost of the room is a bit higher than we would have preferred. Located very close to the highway which is good for easy on/off; happy that the room was well insulated or the traffic noise could have been terrible. Like the Little America in Cheyenne this place is a bit on the dated side but holds up well and is a nice treat when looking for someplace a bit different from the ordinary.

Nice departure from same-old

Posted May 3, 2015
Pros: Quaint, quiet and well staffed.
This hotel is a little gem. Nestled next to a pine forest, it is quiet, restful and very convenient to the highways. Just a short drive from old downtown Flagstaff. Room was very spacious, and very comfortable. Would definitely return, and highly recommend for this city with lots of cookie cutter hotels.

Pleasant stay but bad service!

Posted May 1, 2015
Cons: Room Service
Location: Perfectly located next to highway 40. There's a Denny's, BWW, Walmart withing 1/1.5 miles. Easy access to all major highways to GC North and South rim
I went there last weekend with friends. I would like to say that the stay was great. Fancy lobby and rooms. Clean toilets and rooms. Perfect for a holiday. But, the service is pathetic. There's no room service when you need them the most. Please make sure you have a gallon of water with you before bed. The vending machines do not water bottles and some of them don't work. The room service ends at 9 or 10 pm. Just in case you are thinking about staying up better get yourself some water and other amenities from the near by gas station or Walmart. Due to bad weather, I was unable to go out and help myself!!

An extremely pleasant stay

Posted Apr 27, 2015
This is a great hotel! We had a suite facing the wooded area out back and couldn't be happier with our stay. We spent 5 nights and enjoyed everything about the hotel. The room was very clean and well maintained. There was certainly no lack of space. Even though the hotel is located just off the highway, it was exceptionally quiet. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant and lounge are also first rate. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel once and both were great. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of fresh items from breakfast meats, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereals, etc. The dinner menu had an adequate selection and the food was good. Would recommend and definitely would stay here again. A+

Courteous staff, great location, very quiet rooms, great food in restaurant and in a rural setting that was peaceful serene in spite of being near highway. We heard nothing from the traffic when in our room

Well appointed, convenient location

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: location, classic room style which I prefer, large comfy room
Cons: I can't think of anything
Location: It is conveniently located just off the freeway exit but the surroundings isolate it from road noise, traffic etc. I used it as a launching point for
I liked this hotel quite a bit. It is conveniently located just off the freeway exit but the surroundings isolate it from road noise, traffic etc. I used it as a launching point for a trip up to the Grand Canyon. Special shout out to Steve at the front desk and the folks at Ogden Cleaners which the hotel uses for valet laundry service. I accidentally left a large amount of cash in a pants pocket that I sent out for cleaning. All it took was a call to Steve, he called the laundry and I got every penny back. In this day and age, I applaud their honesty and integrity. I would stop here again without hesitation and not only because my cash was returned.

Comfortable hotel

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: It was very warm and comfortable.
Cons: The furniture needs to be replaced.
Location: It is located right off the interstates in Flagstaff.
The lobby was very large and inviting and our rooms were surprisingly large and decorated very homey. The hotel is very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We ate dinner in the hotel dining room which was large as well and the food was excellent! They also have a great gift store where I bought a beautiful pair of earrings. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! Everything a person needs when traveling is here in this hotel. It is very convenient to the Interstates as well.
