Inexpensive but still needs improvement

Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful, the location was good and the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The room was dusty, the carpet dirty and the room was cramped with one bed and no chairs.
Location: Right off the interstate along a row of many hotels and restaurants - we did not venture into downtown Flagstaff but it looked to be fairly close by.
Picked this for the rate and with a name brand but this hotel needs some serious upgrades to stay competitive (and have people stay more than once). On the plus side, besides the low rate, the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was first rate.

Needing update

Pros: Price and location.
Cons: Nearly everything need improving.
Location: Convenient to Interstate and short drive to dining and a WalMart.
Although economically priced it still falls short. I stayed in this hotel 7 or 8 years ago and it looks as if nothing has been done beyond housekeeping. Furniture has nicks and dents, carpet is clean but old, new coat of paint needed. Very limited choice of TV channels which you have to watch on an old, small TV. Could have been worse for the price, but could have been better.

Excellent value & friendly staff

Pros: Great staff. Good towels. Good little coffeemaker. Great breakfast!
Cons: Coffee in breakfast room
Location: Easy on-off I-40
Nice remodel, pleasant room, though not super quiet - you may hear the trains and highway. No microwave or fridge in room, but a one-cup coffeemaker, hair dryer, and decent towels. Super-friendly and competent front desk staff. Chocolate chip cookies at the front desk! And then, bigger surprise, MUCH MORE than the "Continental breakfast" advertised: scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage, big beautiful oranges, and a fresh waffle maker! Coffee in the breakfast room was a disappointment (If you're old enough, it will remind you of original Instant Nescafe), but my little coffeemaker's brew was surprisingly good. Easy on and off I-40. A pool, though weather much too cold for swimming. Overall, a good inexpensive overnight stop.

Great hotel for a quick overnight stay

Pros: Clean quiet room.
Cons: Come with extra towels without asking.
Location: Nice and close to a number of gas stations and satisfactory fast food places - which is highly convenient.
Hotel staff was extremely friendly. Nice quiet, clean room - and good for an overnight stay.

Very good price for a nice room.

Pros: Very comfortable bed and breakfast was good.
Cons: didn't need expedia on this one. As we were waiting in lobby everybody got the same rate as we did.
Location: excellent location. a couple of very good restaurants within walking distance.
We had a problem with the cable box and it was simply a matter of making it accessible for the remote control. We had to get the desk person to correct the problem. Carpet needed vacuumed.

Nice hotel close to Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater

Pros: We received very good service, good breakfast, and comfortable stay - clean and good price, all you need.
Cons: A little noisy, but probably nothing can be changed
Location: Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Sunset Volcano crater, sight seeing
Nice hotel close to Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater. A part of Choice Hotels, where you can collect stays and get a free night. Good breakfast which is an important part if you travel. Reasonable services at a good price. A little noisy, but it depends on what you prefer.

Pros: Good price and clean and comfortable.
Cons: The water pipes are noisy. you can hear the people in other rooms showering and flushing, There were not enough tables for breakfast.
Location: Eat at the Weatherford Hotel downtown. It's an old original mansion. Not expensive and interesting architecture and décor.
Needed a one night place to stay the night after the Grand Canyon. Good for the price.

Pros: Plenty of hot water when taking a shower!
Cons: If you advertise breakfast from 6-9 am, then make it so.
Location: Left town right after breakfast to Sedona.
Joshua, the receptionist, was pleasant. The room was clean. The bathroom was also clean. The only negative I can say is that they start clearing up the breakfast bar by 8:40-8:45 am, even though it's supposed to stay open till 9:00 am.
