Very good price for a nice room.

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: Very comfortable bed and breakfast was good.
Cons: didn't need expedia on this one. As we were waiting in lobby everybody got the same rate as we did.
Location: excellent location. a couple of very good restaurants within walking distance.
We had a problem with the cable box and it was simply a matter of making it accessible for the remote control. We had to get the desk person to correct the problem. Carpet needed vacuumed.

Nice hotel close to Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: We received very good service, good breakfast, and comfortable stay - clean and good price, all you need.
Cons: A little noisy, but probably nothing can be changed
Location: Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Sunset Volcano crater, sight seeing
Nice hotel close to Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater. A part of Choice Hotels, where you can collect stays and get a free night. Good breakfast which is an important part if you travel. Reasonable services at a good price. A little noisy, but it depends on what you prefer.

Pros: Good price and clean and comfortable.
Cons: The water pipes are noisy. you can hear the people in other rooms showering and flushing, There were not enough tables for breakfast.
Location: Eat at the Weatherford Hotel downtown. It's an old original mansion. Not expensive and interesting architecture and décor.
Needed a one night place to stay the night after the Grand Canyon. Good for the price.

Pros: Plenty of hot water when taking a shower!
Cons: If you advertise breakfast from 6-9 am, then make it so.
Location: Left town right after breakfast to Sedona.
Joshua, the receptionist, was pleasant. The room was clean. The bathroom was also clean. The only negative I can say is that they start clearing up the breakfast bar by 8:40-8:45 am, even though it's supposed to stay open till 9:00 am.

Cons: Have a backup plan for problems like this. Leave a message on room phone and/or note on door about problem.
Hotel is going through remodeling which it needs. Had no hot water one night because of pump going out. Understand these things happen but staff could have done better job of promptly letting us know about the problem and offering a discount for that night's stay since we found out about it so late.

No customer service

Posted Apr 13, 2015
First night there were no concerns. Easy check in, friendly staff, clean room. We left the next morning and spent all day at Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course expecting to come back to hot shower and bed to sleep off exhaustion. No hot water. No notices, no calls, no messages, no contact period! When we called up to the front desk to inquire about hot water we were told water heater went out earlier in the day and at that time guests were being offered a refund for the day if they chose to checkout. We were advised that since our call came in at 10:30pm there was nothing the staff could do to accomodate us or change the situation. So we were left with no hot water, no reasonable accomodations to fix the situation, and no customer service to make anything right. We were told we could leave if we wanted but there would be no refund. We have already booked another day in Sept at Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course and will find a diffrent hotel to stay at.

Reasonable Accommodation for day trips

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: reasonable price and clean for an overnight stay.
Cons: Perhaps upgrading, some fruit and newer pillows.
Location: Location on highway 40 with easy access to the Grand Canyon and Sedona.
Rooms were clean, though in need of upgrading as slightly dated. Breakfast better than expected but perhaps could offer fruit, as well. Pillows were flat, had little support.
