Renovation Activity Was A Surprise

Well we got there kinda late the guy at the front was nice but because of the construction we drove around a couple times to find the office but it was more like a room of the hotel... The room was super stinky and it was a "non-smoking- " but the good thing about it is it's close to good places to eat and walmart.. Won't stay there again for 101 a night

Location: OK OFF FREEWAY
got into town about noon, checked with front desk to see if maybe our room was ready, they said not until 2:00 to 2:30 came back at 2:15 and checked in and went to room. only to find a stinky room toilet full of last check in and under the covers was hair from last check in. will not go back there and will tell everyone.

I stayed her because my daughter had orientation for college. When I first entered the room it was very clean, and the room didn't smell like cigarette. Overall I think this is a good hotel to stay at if you're passing by.

Decent hotel, worth the money that you spend

Pros: Decent rooms, with a flat screen TV.
Cons: 1. Had booked a room with refrigerator but did not get one. 2. Construction going on.Looked kinda dirty.

Cheap motel

Cons: Staff service. They forgot my wake up call, couldn't find any shaving cream, and the shower was a mere dribble.
Location: Freeway
For the $40 I spent it was okay, but at the $100 they normally charge, it is way over priced. Stay at one of the historic hotels downtown if you have money to spend.

Pros: Good location, lots of restaurants and a Walmart nearby. The guest binder was excellent, especially the city map. Room was quiet.
Cons: Finish the remodeling and give cleaning staff some refreshers. Has potential to be wonderful.
Location: It's along a hotel-row, with several nearby restaurants. Within easy drives of several national parks. Old town is quite interesting.
They are still in process of remodeling the property. Registration is in a cramped guest room, although staff did a good job of dealing with three situations at the same time. They were polite and efficient. Parking lot and grounds could have been much cleaner. A lot of litter was around, but...it had been exceptionally windy. Sidewalks were exceptionally dirty with lots of cig. butts & sticky spills. They could benefit from a nice cleaning. Carpet in room had not been vacuumed; found a metal fingernail cleaning tool just inside the door and some pieces of plastic under the bathroom counter - I picked up the tool but the plastic was never removed over three days. It could have been the construction, but all the furniture tops were covered in dust upon my arrival. I'm sure all will improve once the renovations are done. Directions given on the website could be improved to include mentioning the Conoco station as the place to turn. Tough to find until I called the property and got this hint.

Under Construction, but great value

Location: Less than 10 minutes from historic downtown (totally go there it's wonderful!); Walmart almost directly behind, gas everywhere; right off the highway.
We randomly decided to ride the Harley into Flagstaff for the night, and I ended up booking our room on the way. The guys at the desk were very helpful, letting us know places to eat, where Walmart was (seriously it's like 2 minutes away!), and if we needed anything they helped. Even though the renovations were going on, they had converted a guest room into the lobby, and two of them into where you could go get breakfast the next morning. Having breakfast was a HUGE plus to us!
