Williams AZ

Posted May 28, 2015
Pros: Courteous and helpful.
Location: Colorado River is 2 1/2 hour by car, well worth the trip to see other side of Grand Canyon and beach. Train ride to the Canyon was a good experience.
The Hotel is within walking distance to down town Williams, AZ. 30 miles to Flagstaff Airport, a car is needed to get to the Canyon 60 miles away. Hotel staff treated us like family.

Great stay , from staff to room comfort. Breakfast surprise large selection of items included in price. The only negative would be hot water temp was too low.

Nice and Clean hotel, easily accessible...

Posted Apr 28, 2015
A basic hotel with nice, clean rooms. Checked in late at night and had a cozy night's sleep. Breakfast spread was decent. Would stay again if in the area.

Two day stay for Grand Canyon!

Posted Apr 21, 2015
The room itself was very comfortable and clean. Staff was polite. Did not like housekeeping opening our door at 8:30 am.

Pros: The free breakfast was very good.
Cons: amenities offered
Location: visit the Grand Canyon
The heater did not work in one of our rooms so we had to move to the second floor.

Nice hotel in good location.

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff, location, and cleanliness of the room.
Cons: Breakfast food and seating.
Location: Downtown Williams, AZ is fun. It has good eating establishments featuring everything from American diner food to Mexican. Also has a good coffee shop.
I found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and professional. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only real negative was the breakfast. Food was bland and seating very limited.

Good price, not so good experience

Posted Apr 11, 2015
The hotel was okay for a quick one or two night stay. The staff was nice and there was a breakfast available each morning. Problems arose, however, when a family with children were placed in the room above ours. My husband and I thought drunks must have been above us trashing the room - the thumping and banging was that loud. Then we figured out is was children jumping off the bed and running and stomping on the floor. This went on for hours. The other problem was that on three occasions our room cards didn't work. So there were three trips to the front desk each time to correct the problem. The hotel is an easy on off the highway, so that is a plus.
