Decent HotelPosted Aug 25, 2014
Location: We took the train to the Grand Canyon, great 2 hour ride to the canyon.
Nice hotel. When we arrived, we went in and unpacked, and discovered that the toilet didn't work. The front desk sent up the lady that checked us in, and I had to tell her the problem with the toilet. She told us that she would put in a repair request in the morning. Didn't offer us a different room until we asked her where our new room was going to be. Then she was a little hesitant, but came back right away with different room keys to a suite...nice little upgrade, whether that was all they had left, or they actually upgraded us, no one will ever know. :) All in all a nice hotel though, wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Trip to grand canyon..Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Clean quiet and affordable.
Cons: I would improve restaurant food.
Location: Easy to find. Quiet. Off the major road. Convenient to grand canyon..
Hotel was clean, off main road so very quiet. Loved the free coffee hot chocolate and pop corn in lobby. Kids loved the hot chocolate. About 1 hour from grand canyon and very affordable. Arrived late in evening so we ate at the hotel steak house. They offered us a discount but I would not eat there again. The entertainer in restaurant was very good. But it would be best to find food in town. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would stay there again.

MehPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Staff, convenience
Cons: Overall odor, hall carpets and entrance were filthy.
Location: Restaurants & gas nearby, Grand Canyon access easy.
The whole place smelled like they used a chemical to mask the smell of cigarette smoke. Room was OK, staff was fine. Had card key problem which they fixed. Nothing special, but not horrible.

Grand Canyon!Posted Aug 21, 2014
The hotel was a nice place to stay. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Having stayed at several hotels this trip I would say this hotel was the only one where the front desk staff was almost non existent. No "hellos" or "how was your stay" It wouldn't take much effort to improve on the customer friendliness. My husband asked for a second luggage stand and was told only one a room...silly. We used their ironing board.

Handy for The Grand Canyon.Posted Aug 17, 2014
Cons: A lift to the 1st floor would be handy, we had to drag our suitcases up the stairs.
We checked in and was told by the Receptionist on at the time to walk round to the back entrance as we were on the first floor. We could of actually walked through the hotel to the stairs instead of having to go back outside again. We did not realise there was a lift so had to drag the suitcases up the stairs. The rooms were fine for an overnight stay.

Great location.Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Enjoyed it greatly.
Cons: Gift and souvenir shop could be useful.
Location: Historic Route 66 is 2 blocks away, Grand Canyon National Park South Rim is about 50 miles away, and Bearizona wild park 5 minutes away (great place)
Great location during our visit to the Grand Canyon. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Good water pressure for the shower, and very helpful staff. Doc Holliday's restaurant in house was okay, but right out of the front door was Taco Bell, KFC, and many other eateries to choose from. The hotel sat 2 blocks from a historic portion of Route 66 in Williams, AZ, which made for great souvenirs, interesting shopping, and an overall neat experience for my kids. In house Gift shop had closed several months before.
