Hotel is conveniently located but no elevator!

Posted Jul 20, 2014
The hotel was dated but clean. There is a place to eat on site and next door. It was located right off the exit and a block from the train station that goes to the Grand Canyon. We checked in and had to drag our luggage up a flight of stairs. And then of course back down the next morning.

Great Hotel, on Freeway, lovely staff!~!!!

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: EVERYTHING - well maybe the hottub has taken weeks to fix.
Cons: Hot Tub....Room Service Hours....Shuttle buses to downtown williams - such as the Tourist Info place near Zipline. Free Breakfast
Location: Horse and Carriage rides, Gun show shootout, live music and smells of BBQ. Lots of shopping and places that have been in movies - such as CARS.
I am making plans to go back to this hotel in the next week or so. I loved the room we had - 249 - and the staff were great help to my family. Just added advice, if you go to Williams - you need to book in advance - I did see alot of people arriving at midnight expecting a room - but all sold out!!! It must say something about Ramada!! Booked Out!!! I wish there was free breakfast for those who are leaving early though - All in all what a great, hotel to stay at!!!

Good cost/benefit

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: The room layout, the bed was comfortable
Cons: Breakfast was not what we expected. In all the other hotels we had a complimentary breakfast. In this hotel we paid for it and it was not as complete.
Nice room and good price. We got there a day earlier and the lady at front office was nasty not helpful at all. I understand they were booked but she was not pleasant about telling so and I think she could've offer a little help in giving us some facilities to book another hotel for one night until our reservation kicked in. (Like a phone or offering the guest computer) The following day we checked in a younger lady made the difference, she was helpful, she was nice and welcoming. People who have no customer service spirit should not work on front offices. They should be in the back office.

Handy for town center.

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Very convenient for the town of Williams just a short walk.
Cons: Needs a bit of a facelift, looking a bit tired.
Location: Williams just a short walk away, so very convenient for places to eat, and the walk back is good when you've eaten too much.
Facilities are good, swimming pool , Laundry room which we found very handy half way through the hols. Room very comfortable.

Route 66 Grand Canyon Stay

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable and Close to a store, Pizza Hut and just over all very nice.
Cons: The only this I saw was maybe change the outside garbage can. I was full when we arrived and it was the same when we left.
Location: Downtown Williams, Az , the train station to Grand Canyon, and the Grand Canyon
This was the 2nd hotel on our Route 66 trip and after the first one this was a WONDERFUL surprise! :) The hotel was staff was very friendly, The room was wonderful, very clean, beds very comfortable, and location was great. I wish we would have had more time to spend at the hotel but I would recommend it and would say here again.

Disappointing, at best

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Everything about this hotel was broken. Exits were broken; ice machines were broken; the hot tub was broken; the phones were broken. The pool was overrun with unsupervised children. The room was mediocre in terms of decor and space. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Good and reasonable stay.

We were looking for a cheap stay so we could go to the Grand Canyon. This Ramada was it, while being close to many food establishments.

Spend a little more and stay at the Railway hotel

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Close to all fast food restaurants.
Stayed here for 3 nights and the hot tub was out of service the whole time. Traces of popcorn everywhere you go and there is no elevator to get up to the 2nd floor.
