Just sleep through it

Posted Jul 22, 2014
The hotel was only about an hour away from The Grand Canyon, so we loved that. The room's decor also seemed updated, at least more so than the room we reserved at Harrah's Las Vegas, and it was very clean. I just didn't like that numerous amenities were unavailable. The ice machine on our floor wasn't working, so we had to walk to the area around the front desk to get some. We wanted to relax in the hot tub after our hike at The Grand Canyon, but it wasn't working. The printer made available to customers was also unavailable. And anything that was unavailable to customers had a printed sign from the management apologizing that it was unavailable, like that was OK. I didn't like that there was a random creek behind the hotel. It took away from it's class. Anyway, we did get a good night's rest. So, if you just need a place to sleep for the night--I mean, if you're just planning to check-in and go straight to bed--this is your place. I honestly maintain that they should drop their prices, though. I've stayed at better places for less.

Price is right

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: We were quickly upgraded to a suite when there were problems with the air conditioning in our room.
Cons: There is no elevator to the second floor. Guests had to carry baggage up and down the only staircase in the hotel.
Location: Grand Canyon railway. Williams is a quaint town with fun restaurants and things to do.
Rooms were comfortable, staff was helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. All for a good price.

Hotel is conveniently located but no elevator!

The hotel was dated but clean. There is a place to eat on site and next door. It was located right off the exit and a block from the train station that goes to the Grand Canyon. We checked in and had to drag our luggage up a flight of stairs. And then of course back down the next morning.

Great Hotel, on Freeway, lovely staff!~!!!

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: EVERYTHING - well maybe the hottub has taken weeks to fix.
Cons: Hot Tub....Room Service Hours....Shuttle buses to downtown williams - such as the Tourist Info place near Zipline. Free Breakfast
Location: Horse and Carriage rides, Gun show shootout, live music and smells of BBQ. Lots of shopping and places that have been in movies - such as CARS.
I am making plans to go back to this hotel in the next week or so. I loved the room we had - 249 - and the staff were great help to my family. Just added advice, if you go to Williams - you need to book in advance - I did see alot of people arriving at midnight expecting a room - but all sold out!!! It must say something about Ramada!! Booked Out!!! I wish there was free breakfast for those who are leaving early though - All in all what a great, hotel to stay at!!!

Good cost/benefit

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: The room layout, the bed was comfortable
Cons: Breakfast was not what we expected. In all the other hotels we had a complimentary breakfast. In this hotel we paid for it and it was not as complete.
Nice room and good price. We got there a day earlier and the lady at front office was nasty not helpful at all. I understand they were booked but she was not pleasant about telling so and I think she could've offer a little help in giving us some facilities to book another hotel for one night until our reservation kicked in. (Like a phone or offering the guest computer) The following day we checked in a younger lady made the difference, she was helpful, she was nice and welcoming. People who have no customer service spirit should not work on front offices. They should be in the back office.

Handy for town center.

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Very convenient for the town of Williams just a short walk.
Cons: Needs a bit of a facelift, looking a bit tired.
Location: Williams just a short walk away, so very convenient for places to eat, and the walk back is good when you've eaten too much.
Facilities are good, swimming pool , Laundry room which we found very handy half way through the hols. Room very comfortable.

Route 66 Grand Canyon Stay

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable and Close to a store, Pizza Hut and just over all very nice.
Cons: The only this I saw was maybe change the outside garbage can. I was full when we arrived and it was the same when we left.
Location: Downtown Williams, Az , the train station to Grand Canyon, and the Grand Canyon
This was the 2nd hotel on our Route 66 trip and after the first one this was a WONDERFUL surprise! :) The hotel was staff was very friendly, The room was wonderful, very clean, beds very comfortable, and location was great. I wish we would have had more time to spend at the hotel but I would recommend it and would say here again.

Disappointing, at best

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Everything about this hotel was broken. Exits were broken; ice machines were broken; the hot tub was broken; the phones were broken. The pool was overrun with unsupervised children. The room was mediocre in terms of decor and space. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.
