It was a nice cheap little place to stay at for the night, it had good a/c and is in downtown which is nice.

Dated hotel with cramped rooms close to downtown

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Ice machine broken. Limited Hot water one morning; clerk said they couldn't do anything because it was sunday, and no plumbers were available
Location: Several restaurants and bars w/in walking dist.
Very cold weather. Room clean and neat, but very cramped. No dresser for clothes

Ok for staying the night

Checked in very late in the evening, checked out very early in the morning. The room was ok for staying only the night.

Just what we needed

For the money it was a good stay. We needed an overnight stop after coming in on the train. We got off the train around 10 p.m. and the motel was 1 1/2 blocks away along a well-lighted, wide sidewalk on Rt. 66. It's also close to many cafes, pubs, and artsy shops. There were few amenities: no elevator, no breakfast, no shampoo or hairdryer. We had to haul our baggage up a narrow outside stairway. But there was a coffeemaker in the room and coffee and juice in the lobby. The room was clean, with separate sink outside the bathroom/shower, and the beds were comfortable. I would stay there again for a short, convenient overnight, or even a low-budget few days' visit in Flagstaff.

Ok hotel, close to the center of town.

Pros: Nothing fancy, no breakfast in the morning, small room, low shower head.
Cons: Shower height.....make it adjustable so tall people can also shower without almost sitting n their knees.
Location: The hotel is close to the city center and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We decided to go to Majerle's Sports Grill. 5 min walk.
At first, you think that there will be lots of noise due to the close proximety to the train tracks, and the busy intersection. However, the noise was within limits. The hotel is close to the city center and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We decided to go to Majerle's Sports Grill.....about a 5 minute walk. Perfect. Overall, the hotel was exactly was I expected for the price you pay. Nothing fancy, no breakfast in the morning (not really needed as we were passing through and left pretty early), close to restaurants and bars. Room was okay, although a bot small. Being 6.4", I do struggle with the height of the shower head, but that happens at more hotels.

It's all about the location

Pros: The location
Hotel is old and the rooms are small but you can't beat the downtown location. Short walk to bars, restaurants and the farmer's market. Was happy our room had a small refrigerator and microwave.

Great location and did it's purpose

I chose this motel because it was the closest and most convenient to walking to old town. It's only 2 short blocks and it saved me the hassle of street parking as it had it's own parking lot. The woman who checked me in wasn't the most customer friendly but the man who checked me out, who stated he lives on the premises was great. The room itself is outdated but the purpose of it was just to sleep and I was fine with it for one night.
