Great location close to the Grand Canyon

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location, renovated room, price, helpful guest service staff.
Cons: Vending machines.
Location: Grand Canyon south entrance nearby. That says it all!
Nice hotel but under renovation during our stay. The snack shop was closed and vending machines empty so finding even a bottle of water onsite was almost impossible. Thankfully there is a restaurant onsite.

The hotel was perfect, very close to the grand canyon, the room was clean and pretty, bathroom was the perfect size, the children loved the pool and the jacuzz. Had a margarita at the bar. It was better that expected and s perfect place to stay!!!

One peaceful night

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Outstanding bathroom
Cons: Need breakfast included
Location: Grand Canyon
Clean, quiet, great comfortable bed. Very close to grand canyon, just minutes....Bathroom was outstanding, it was clean and ultra modern. food very expensive in the area and quality of the food not great. Pool heater was broken, but pool is indoors and not real big.. I would stay there again... IT would be the best if they had breakfast in the morning included .

Grand Hotel

Posted Feb 18, 2015
The hotel was under renovation while we were there, but so was every other hotel at the canyon. The room was clean, the staff was pleasant, the bar and restaurant was fun. Only a mile from the south entrance, fun time.

Great hotel with a fine restaurant.

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: It was clean, with newly renovated rooms, pleasant and helpful staff and a beautiful gas fireplace in the lobby and free cookies.
Cons: Finish the renovation before the summer season.
Location: The Grand Canyon.
My wife and I stayed there February 11-13 (two nights) and enjoyed our stay thoroughly! The hotel is about 2 miles from the south entrance to the Grand Canyon which makes it convenient to the park. Our room had been recently renovated and was clean and new looking. Other rooms were under renovation, but without inconvenience to hotel guests. Even the construction workers were friendly and pleasant to the guests. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful all the times and the restaurant offered fine dining at a reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay and will stay there again when we go back to the Grand Canyon. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the Grand Canyon.

Under renovations

Could be a nice place after the renovations are complete. We would not have stayed if we would have known in advance. To many issues all associated with the construction work.

Close proximity to the Grand Canyon makes this pla

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Close proximity to the Grand Canyon National Park.
Cons: It would have been nice to have an elevator that did not exit into the renovation area.
Location: Grand Canyon National Park!
In spite of being in the midst of a major renovation, the minor inconveniences were soon forgotten because the staff and even the constructions workers themselves, were very friendly and considerate.

Convenient to the Grand Canyon Park

Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: The heating units are noisy. The breakfast buffet is served in the dark cave of the nightclubby dinner facility. I'd like something more airy
Location: The south rim of the Grand Canyon should provide at least three days activity.
Grand Hotel is easy to find just outside of Grand Canyon Park. It has modern facilities for conducting business. The staff is helpful. The rooms are well appointed. I left two items in my room on check-out. This is the first hotel in my 60 years experience to actually find and return my items.
