Great locationPosted Sep 13, 2014
Location: Lots of variety in restaurants and close enough to the National Park.
Nice and close to the park and walkable to lots of restaurants. Although a little pricey, we could only stay a couple of nights on our budget. Nice restaurant on site with live music.

Overall very positive, enjoyed our stay. Reasonable price, close to Grand Canyon.

Just Outside the Grand CanyonPosted Sep 1, 2014
If I had done more research, I would have discovered more affordable options. However, I wanted a nice spot considering I would likely be exhausted from canyon hikes. There was a little lobby reno in progress, but the general appearance was very nice. The location was advertised as selling park passes, but the front desk made me walk down and across the street to another hotel to get what I needed. They were not as helpful as they could have been. The room itself was excellent and comfortable. I ate at the restaurant. Service was very good. The food was above average, but not exceptional. There was a "cowboy singer" (term used by front desk) providing entertainment. He was mediocre and took a long break. Overall, it was an average experience.

Great access to Grand CanyonPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pleasant & helpful staff. Hotel is a little tired and overpriced for the quality.

Great location look out for deer!Posted Aug 31, 2014
The Grand lives up to its name compared to all the other hotels in town in size and style. A relatively new building on the main street, The grand offers comfortable rooms just 10mins from the Grand Canyon entrance. Gym, pool and laundry set it apart from more basic offerings locally. We eat locally rather than the hotel and there's a general store on the main street. You are close the the park perimeter, demonstrated by our morning encounter with 2 male deer on the path in front of the hotel, making our stay.

Beautiful hotel, clean, and relaxing.Posted Aug 27, 2014
Staff are reliable and overly helpful to the point you would think you live there full time. The whole experience is nothing but relaxing as there is no casino or ambient noise from strip. My only advice is bring a credit card with zero balance because things are pricey, but you shouldn't b surprised as you are booking a 5 star hotel.

Just Outside Grand Canyon ParkPosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: Very nicely decorated for the area it's in.
The hotel was a really nice place to stay just outside the park, so much more affordable and still easy to get to the Grand Canyon. It was a very pleasant stay!
