This hotel fits our needs. It is close to NAU.Posted Aug 23, 2014
This hotel has everything that our family needs and at an affordable cost. We can also bring our dogs. We can see our NAU student who is right across the street! We have been here twice and will continue to come back! Give them a try you won't be disappointed!

It's a very old motel and it shows.Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: The price.
Cons: The continental breakfast could be better, there was no A/C in my room.
Location: The Grand Canyon
The motel is old but if you're just looking for a place to sleep then it's fine. I needed a place to stay solely to sleep at night, I wasn't looking for a pool or amenities other than a place to lay my head.

Better than a Motel 6, but just barelyPosted Jun 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff were very nice and the hotel is walking distance from two breweries. Those are the only good features. The hotel was recently renovated but is very poorly maintained. Peeling toilet seat, spider web on the shower head, and several lights were out. The refrigerator was also unusually loud and the ceiling fans wobbled horridly.

Close to downtown but that's about itPosted Apr 21, 2014
Location: Close to downtown, nice restaurant and bar right across the street. Sweet Barnes and Nobles around the corner.
Dark rooms with doors that don't seem too safe ... they tried to make it look a tad better by putting in a large flat screen TV. Definitely a budget motel, so you get what you pay for.
I would not recommend this hotel.Posted Jan 3, 2014
Our room smelled like so much bleach that it made our stomachs sick. The walls were missing big chunks of wood, plaster and paint. You could here every word your neighbors said and their tv's. The room was as clean as they could get it but considering the dilapidated state of the room there wasn't much more that could be done. Overall, stay somewhere else.

Good little hotel, within walking distance to the southside neighborhood. Hotel is older, and they were in the process of repainting the outside when we stayed. Very comfortable bed, room itself is very basic.

Worn out.Posted Nov 24, 2013
Location: Great location with in walking distance to downtown area. The reason for my choice.
The renovations they are doing are to slow and incomplete. I had to fix the bathroom sink knob my self since it was 12:30 A.M. when we arrived. Complicated faucets are not required in a motel and that's why they didn't work properly since everybody twisted and turned everything the wrong way. Sheets and towels were hard as a sandpaper and the mini fridge was at 50 degrees (yes, I used a thermometer from my Suunto watch) like the room was. Bathroom had a worn out fans tied to the light switch so you couldn't sneak into the bathroom without waking everybody. Bathroom had no separate heat or AC vent, so it was 61 degrees in the bathroom and 70 degrees in the room when the door was closed all night. I hope they get things moving along and fix all these problems before ski season begins.
