Close to downtown. Pretty clean. Office staff was very nice. Breakfast was weak but OK. Would stay here again.

Convenient & Inexpensive

Pros: price, clean, location
Cons: turn the lights on before breakfast or for early check out, even for safety
Location: All of the National Parks and Monuments are worth seeing, including the Grand Canyon. Eat breakfast at The Crown Railroad Café once.
The motel is close to restaurants, Natural Grocers, the college, and Route 66. It is an older motel, but has been maintained. The outdoor lights get turned off after midnight, so bring a flashlight for packing early or walking to breakfast. Subsidized housing out back, but not a problem. View of mountain from back rooms. If you hang their "green" tag, they will not clean any part of the room, make the bed, or replace the coffee, shampoo, etc. Breakfast is all white grains, re-constituted coffee & juice.

Pros: Not a thing
Cons: Clean change of sheed for every guest will be a big plus.
Location: A road side motel.
Very rude and unhelpful staff. We were given the room with unchanged sheets, clearly used by other guests before. Free wifi did not work.

Good for short stay.

One night stay was good, clean room and comfortable bed. The man at the desk was not very friendly, but he was there late when we checked in and again when we went for breakfast so maybe he was working too much. He wasn't rude, just had no smile or desire for communication with weary travelers.

Nice hotel and the price was right.

Pros: Location and quiet
Cons: add hair conditioner.
We booked the motel to stay after enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner with family. It was a perfect place to come back to after our tummies were full. It was quiet.

Okay for the price

Pros: Cleanliness and comfort. Location.
The place didn't stand out from other places of its type, but it certainly wasn't bad. The room was cleanly and comfortable, and really, isn't that what's most important? Breakfast offerings were sparse but okay. Location was good. Staff was friendly. My only comment was that check-out time was 11am, but I had housekeeping knock on my door at least twice, starting at about 8:30am, to clean the room. Only decaf available in the room.

Cons: the beds
I would not recommend this hotel, had I not prepaid for the stay I would have asked for a refund and moved to a different hotel. The beds were most uncomfortable, the heat system very noisy.

Fine for a quick stop

Stayed only one night each way while driving to California and home. Room was clean and comfortable. The heater in our second room was not putting out much heat, mentioned it in the morning and is to be looked at. Breakfast offerings were slim, but not a big deal. All that mattered to me was clean, comfortable, and could not hear train and all those were met. I would definitely stay here again!
