“A slice of paradise in the Cayman Islands!”

I can't say enough about my wonderful stay at Cobalt Coast Resort. My oceanfront suite was spacious,spotless and tastefully decorated. The included hot breakfasts were delicious and could fuel you up for the day! The staff were all friendly and helpful, just a bunch of really nice people. The sea view from the hotel room and restaurant was exquisite. And the snorkeling right off the dock was fantastic. I also think the West Bay location of the hotel is ideal - just far enough away from the congestion of 7 mile beach, but really just a short ride away from it all. I think my friends and family are getting tired of me going on about how much I enjoyed Cobalt Coast, a slice of paradise in the Cayman Islands!

For Grand Cayman this is true divers resort. I can't say enough for the resort and for the owner, Arie, who you can challenge to try and make your stay nicer - if you can come up with any ideas. Really, if you have a problem in the middle of the night you can ring his room - he provides all guests the number - and he will make it right. The rooms are huge with a full bedroom and large attached bath. The front room is a large living area with second TV and kitchen area with icebox, filtered water, and sink. This is equal to a one bedroom apartment with good air conditioning as well. The resort is located on a quiet spot on the northwest coast and if you drive to the resort watch for the signs for directions. You will be driving down small streets in residential areas to get there - and probably on the left side of the road. This was my first experience driving on the left and although different it was not too hard to adapt. PAY attention and concentrate though! Those of us from the USA look "left" before pulling out into traffic - here you must look "right"!! The prices are high for food but we stopped by KIRK's supermarkets and picked up some snacks and drinks and then ate the hotel for lunch and dinner. The food was fantastic and well prepared. The diving was great with Divetech - the on-site company. The boats are well cared and the dive leaders are very experienced and allow you to dive your profile.

If you only want to dive and relax I would recommend this resort. Diving was GREAT and the resort owner was very friendly and hospitable. However, the resort was a little out of the way. Buying food and drink was very expensive. But on the other hand the food was some of the best I have ever tasted.
