“Will be going back without a doubt!”

All ocean view suites really make this hotel worth while and a true value. Smaller hotel so it is not crowed and very mellow.

“Excellent location & set up”

This hotel is in the most fabulous location on Seven Mile beach. It is so easy to walk directly from your room onto the beach or into the pools. If you have children the set-up of the pools could not be any better, In 1 pool there is a 2-3 foot pool section followed by a deep area and then the swim up bar. In the other pool there is a gently deepening graded floor to the pool - both are VERY visible so you can keep your eye on the children at all times. The hotel is really quite intimate and consequently never seemed to be unpleasantly busy. The food from the two hotel restaurants & room service was excellent, just remember that the island is generally expensive & the hotel prices are no different. The two room set-up allows for a little more privacy for adults vacationing with children & there is a good microwave/toaster oven, refridgerator set up in the suites. Will definetely go back when budget allows.

“Excellent hotel with great view”

Hotel staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Any request we had was answered promptly. We requested an extension cord for the big lamp in the living room so we could read out on the balcony at night. Needed a highchair for my child. Lamp cord was frayed and replaced immediately. Pools were well maintained as was the beach area. Beach chairs were comfortable. Only small area of pool chairs received good sun. We had an excellent 1 bedroom suite with a full balcony and was called ocean view, but it was more like ocean front. Restaurants were also excellent on site.

“Great location and service”

Grand Cayman Beach Suites was formerly the Hyatt Beach Club. It's not a Hyatt but it makes up for it by being quite possibly the closest resort to the water. The beach is great, Red Sail Watersports is adjacent and the hotel personnel are among the friendliest and most responsive I've ever experienced. The hospitality industry should use GC Beach Suites as a model. The rooms are updated but a bit worn, not worthy of a fifth star on this review. There are other reviews about road noise; this may occur with the full balcony suites, but the French balcony suites, which offer a minimal at best ocean view, are also much quieter. On site, the Seven Mile Beach Bar is a great lunch option; Hemingway's, the restaurant is OK, and Bamboo, the sushi bar and club, is definitely worth a visit. If there are any real complaints about the property, it is that parking can be difficult, it is very limited, and that the beach lounges, with their built-in shades, could be a different color than dark blue (absorbs the tropical sun). This is definitely a go-back hotel/resort.

“What an amazing stressless experience”

Love Love Love, will go back to this hotel. It was small and personal. The staff was ready to help you with anything you needed. Very clean and comfortable. Great place to take kids, we didn't but will next time. Beach amazing and so clean. Always had acces to chairs and towels. So convience to everything you need, restuarants, shopping grocery store, ect. All within walking distance. We rented a car and it was great to beable to drive around and see the island. Red Sails Sports excursion stuff is right there and very easy to make plans with.

“Family Vacation to Cayman”

We had a wonderful time being together and the inside of the rooms and the blue-blue water were absolutely wonderful. However, I can't actually recommend this hotel at this time because of a couple of issues. #1 The front desk staff were not hospitable to me at all on 4 out of 4 occasions that I had to ask questions of them. These were questions about taxi/bus service and local restaurants?? I find that unacceptable. #2 We booked an ocean front suite but yet we were on the side of the building with what I considered an ocean view and even to see that you had to look across the construction site next door. (Now I realize construction is progress-but a reduction in rates while this is going on would be a reasonable concession.)

“The Ideal Place to Stay on Grand Cayman”

Our trip to Grand Cayman was outstanding in every way. The Hyatt Regency - on -Seven Mile Beach turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay. Each and every staff member was helpful, courteous and always smiling and friendly. We would certainly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Very nice Hotel, very well located, beach in front is perfectly maintained. The hotel is just the right size and does not feel crowded. We had a great time.

“Great service !”

Suite was just what we expected. Great view of the pool and ocean from a one bedroom suite. Suite was a little cramped for 4 adults with dive gear, as one of us slept on the sleeper sofa, and one used a roll away bed. A two bedroom suite would have been better with 2 baths. That said,the service was exceptional.The one bath we had was large and very well equiped. More towels than we could use. All personnel were very nice and helpful.We also received 2 free full breakfasts to order every day at Hemmingways.
