The only complaint i had was the beach was absolutely too crowded. People are allowed to 'reserve' beach chairs that they didn't seem to be even using. There were towels on chairs there were unoccupied for hours and hours.

The Beach is on the most narrow part of 7 mile beach and pool is nothing to write home about. Get to the beach or pool early and get your spot for the day. The food and service were excellent but pricey. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend it.

“Grand Cayman Marriott”

Even though there was a slight problem with our rooms at check-in, the staff was extremely helpful and corrected the issue the best they could considering the hotel was fully occupied. The manager quickly appeared and wanted to make sure we were happy with the outcome and made it clear that if we needed "anything", to just ask.

“Upscale Caribbean Island”

Very nice hotel at the southern end of 7-mile beach. The reef in front of the hotel was very good for snorkeling. Saw a stingray, sea turtle, a good-sized barracuda, small moray eel, squid, and loads of fish. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas available and they basically cover every square foot of their approximate 250 feet of ocean frontage with chairs. Everywhere else on 7-mile beach looks desolate in comparison. Needed to be up by 7 am to get a front row chair during the third week of April. The food and beverages are very expensive here, but this is also the case at the nicer restaurants/hotels on the island. At the Marriot bar plan on spending $10 Cayman for a mixed drink (which don't compare to the quality of the drinks provided at the Sandals all-inclusive chain). They also tack on 15% gratuity and then you have the fact that the US dollar is worth only $0.80... in the end the drink ends up costing about $14 US. A burger and fries will run you about $23 US. You get the picture. The first floor room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff was very helpful always. There's several restaurants within walking distance for breakfast (Coconut Joes and Cimboco) which are reasonably priced. There's also some nice restuarants for dinner within a 10 to 15 minute walk for dinner as well (The Wharf, Fidel Murphy's Pub, Hemmingways).

“Great Times”

We had a wonderful family vacation. We met people and staff from all over the world. The food was superb. The wait staff very attentive to needs. The beach was gorgeous. The fact that one could literally get out of bed, walk to get the snorkel equipment, and be on the beach in 5 minutes w/ towels and no charge for chairs or the umbrella was a great convenience. Having tours and taxi's or getting buses. . . very easy and very, very safe. We met one couple who has been back to this motel for the past 18 years. That says it all :)

“Marriott Beach Resort- great Cayman visit”

very nice staff- loved our room - we got the Ocean view w breakfast included - very nice breakfast buffet- we had a big brunch everyday. The Lobster night was bit overpriced- but they had music outside and we sat right in front of the water - nice. The hotel has a Coconut Joes across the street - burgers and salads and we also walked to Camana Bay shopping and ate dinner twice- Michaels's & Ortanique- fun area- nice fountain for kids to play in. another perk was you could watch movies without having to pay extra. I was with my 19 yr old son and we had the best time watching lots of movies. The Island is so laid back- no one pressures you to jet ski or kayak, etc but it is right in front of the hotel if you want to plus they have several booths set up to go sailing, snorkeling, diving etc- if you want to parasail plan early- we called to late and got their full voice mail but ther is always the Seven mile beach to walk- try to go to Calico Jacks too. we also enjoyed the beautiful courtyard with comfortable seating and the Lobby is very nice- on our last day we had lunch and were able to hang out and play iPad games or watch tv - our flight did not leave until 5pm

“Great Hotel and Scuba Friendly!”

Top-notch hotel with all the amenities. Well appointed and clean rooms. Spa is great! However, exercise room is bare bones. Good in-house dining, but food and drinks are expensive. Did a 7 day dive package with Red Sail. Dive shop on premises; well operated, friendly, helpful staff, and great dive masters! Would definately do this again!
