A real find on busy Grand Cayman

Posted Feb 24, 2013
Northern Lights is a group of nine townhomes, mostly owner occupied. The two story home has two bedrooms upstairs each with its own full bathroom. The master bedroom overlooks the ocean and has a screen porch with hammock. Downstairs there is another screen porch, living room, dining area, half-bath, and kitchen complete with washer and dryer. Everything was clean, neat, and convenient. All we had to supply was food, and the owner would have stocked the fridge if we had asked him to do so before we arrived. The snorkeling off the shore is the best on the island, although difficult when it is too windy. On those days we drove (45minutes) to 7 mile beach and snorkeled and wandered in the sun. One of the best restaurants on the island, Over the Edge, is nearby. We could not have asked for a more beautiful or restful vacation at a fraction of the cost and the hassle of the tourist filled West side. We hope to return soon and often.
