Staff is powerless to accommodate any changes you might request. Oceanfront rooms are further from bar and so are much quieter. Kitchen is fairly well equipped. Rooms are large but AC unit is loud. Hot tub is nice. Grand Cayman is very nice but quite expensive.

Great Birthday Stay!Posted Dec 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
This property doesn't usually operate on Sundays (the day we flew in) but were well informed I would be checking in that day. They called me to reconfirm my flight information and made sure an attendant will be at the property to check me in! upon check in, they give you a welcome tote for your stay :). I ordered the standard room that doesn't have a view but was pleasantly surprised that my view consisted of the pool and ocean; it was definitely a view to behold. 2 br + ba, it was so spacious. this unit had everything we needed, the place was clean, although it did smell like the ocean (can't really avoid that). provided a safe for our personal belongings. and the maintenance guy came up right away (our hot water was turned off). opening up the blinds, the sun shined through which definitely brightened up our place a lot! Even though sunset cove was formerly known/owned under Treasure Island, Treasure Island attendants will not help you. It was unfortunate bc they kept saying they're the same company but when we asked them to check our bags at the bellhop desk, they refused to help (our office wasn't open til 11am, and it was 10am and we wanted to get in what we could before our departure flight). and that's another thing, at the leasing office, the doors on one side say they open at 9am, another door says 10am, and then the sign that says "we will return at xx" says 11am. so in actuality, their office is from 11am - 5pm.

Nice condos with private beachPosted Nov 23, 2013
Pros: Beach, grounds, location.
Location: Excellent snorkelling and swimming right off the beach, ready access to dive shops and Georgetown.
We were very pleased with our stay at Sunset Condos. The condo unit was very clean, comfortable, and provided for all the amenities. The grounds are beautiful, and the beach is unique on Seven Mile, in that it is completely private, well away from the crowds that show up when the cruise ships are in port, and yet close enough for a daily walk the full length of the west side of Grand Cayman. The condos are centrally located, with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I have no hesitation recommending Sunset Condos. I do recommend asking for a condo with a beach view, however. Ours looked into a parking lot, and others look over the neighbouring Treasure Island Resort, neither of which can replace the Caribbean Sea.

Great Condos in Great locationPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good quality condos in a nice location with great beach of its own and good access to 7 mile beach. The sea in front of the condos is protected making it ideal for snorkelling with soft white powder sand. Complex kept very clean, good pool and pool bar.

Grand Cayman Sunset CovePosted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: Location and reef. Comfortable, beautiful view. Good dining at pool.
Cons: Replace dingy furniture condo, patio. Replace linens with fresh white duvets and sheets. Get rid of fake plants. Raise ceiling fans. New grill.
Location: Camana Bay, close. Sting Ray City, must. Botanical Gardens, 30 min. Da Fish Shack, good food and view. Deckers, good but too pricey for us.
Great location for snorkeling with lagoon and awesome reef just outside the lagoon. Cruise goers passed by this reef without stopping. Our condo was 3 bedroom oceanfront, very comfortable and well equipped. The furniture in the condo was a bit tacky and quite dingy, dusty fake plants and ceiling fans too low. Nice patio with tacky, old furniture, but comfortable with beautiful view. Grill needs to be replaced. A.C. worked well, made for comfortable sleeping. We had groceries delivered and there was a nice grocery 2 min. down the road. We ate breakfast and lunch at condo. because the dining in Grand Cayman is so expensive. The restaurant/bar at Sunset Cove, Billy Bone's, was very good and not so expensive so we ate their twice and kept a running tab which made it easy. My husband and sons loved the diving with Wall to Wall diving. This is our third time in Grand Cayman and third Sting Ray City adventure that never gets old. Camana Bay nice shopping and dining, very close. Botanical Garden very nice if you like that sort of thing, 30 min. drive.

Close to beach and poolPosted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: We stayed in a condo and most of what we needed was provided except groceries of course.
Cons: We slept in the bedroom facing the sun, I woke up at 6: 00 am every morning, heavier drapes would have helped.
Location: Shopping and dining is within walking distance.
I would not go back in August, but overall we had a good experience.

Great condo in CaymanPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: Our unit was extremely clean and spacious. Great beach, snorkeling cove, and pool.
Cons: Wi-fi in all units would be helpful.
Location: It is at the southern tip of seven mile beach, but still in walking distance to other hotels and restaurants in the area.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sunset Cove. My husband, two teens, and I stayed in one of the two-bedroom units poolside. The private beach was quiet and clean with ample lounge chairs available. My husband and son had a wonderful time snorkeling in the cove. The pool was lovely and very clean, as well. We enjoyed having a couple of tropical drinks at the swim up bar, Billy Bones. Our unit was extremely clean with all modern amenities. The condos look like they have been recently renovated. Overall, a great place to stay. Maybe not as luxurious as some of the hotels on seven mile beach, but in walking distance to the other hotels and restaurants nearby.
