“Best Deal on the Island”

Its been 10 years since I last stayed at Sunshine Suites. It was great then and its even nicer now. Very convenient location, great staff and super friendly. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Most importantly, they have thought of all the little details - provide you beach chairs to walk right across the street and sit on 7 mile beach. The restaurant (which I don't think was there 10 years ago) was a total surprise. Great breakfast and really nice menu for lunch and dinner. Actually, I saw a lot of people coming to eat there that weren't even staying at the hotel. Overall, I think this is one of the best deals on the island.

“Wonderful stay at Sunshine Resorts”

The Sunshine Suites Resort was a wonderful place to stay on Grand Cayman. The morning breakfast was very good and plentiful. It was located across the road from the Seven Mile Beach and near grocery stores. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.The rooms were clean and well maintained. My only regret was that it rained most days of our vacation. Tropical Storm Dolly hit the island for a day and a half with torrential rain and wind. Otherwise, it was very pleasant. The Sunshine Grill was also very good for lunch or dinner. Portions were big and very tasty. Prices were reasonable compared to other local eateries.

“A cozy place”

The hotel is for those travelers looking for a more low key venue. The beach is across the street, and the food at the hotel is among the island's best. The staff is great.

“Don't Miss This Gem”

Great place to stay and close to the beach-hotel furnishes chairs and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Hotel has a fresh water foot rinse whenyou come back to get sand off. Hotel staff went over and above when we had problems with a tour company. Food at hotel was great and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful. Rent a car and drive all over the islands. The kayak at Kaibo was awesome. Don't miss cemetary beach. We did not want to leave.

“Serene surroundings in a very convenient location - I just love it there”

I'm a return customer so that would say it all. I love the location so very near to 7 mile beach. The food served at the Sunshine Grill is excellent; the staff at the hotel are very friendly and the rooms are clean. A new breakfast buffet was offered during my stay providing a greater array of selections for a fair price, while the complimentary breakfast was pared down. Personally I really liked the complimentary breakfast as it was, but management felt they needed to respond to the negative reviews some visitors had provided. How unfortunate that the complainers ruined it for us all. In spite of changes to the breakfast, I'd go back to Sunshine Suites in a heartbeat!

“Great value, great service, great location”

This hotel had a perfect location on 7 mile beach. It was a few steps to a strip mall where there were restaurants and a dive shop for scheduling snorkeling and fishing trips. Across the street were several well known hotels where we signed up for more excursions and the beach which was gorgeous. Rooms were clean, roomy and had a kitchenette so we ate lunch in every day and breakfast was on site and free. The staff was incredibly nice and unbelieveably accomodating. We have traveled a lot in the US and abroad and the staff ranks at the top of our list!Grand Cayman is expensive, so for a great value with outstanding service I highly recommend Sunshine Suites.

“Great time at Sunshine Suites”

The Sunshine Suites was a great condo for our vacation. Right across the street from a beautiful part of the beach. The staff were all very nice. The restaurant was very good!

“Relaxed simplicity”

We really enjoyed our stay. We had many delays in getting there but once we arrived the staff made us feel very relaxed. The grill has large portions in food and drinks and you can swim in the pool at the same time! We felt like we were getting our money's worth whenever we ate there and the quality was better than other places on the island as well. The rooms come fully equipped with a kitchen, we went to the grocery store which is a short walk away and stocked up with drinks and food also. We went fishing and cooked up our fresh catch in the kitchen. The AC is necessary due to humidity during the rainy season (summer). We decided to extend our stay by a couple days and were well accomodated. It's not the Ritz, but it is well worth the price, which is also among the most affordable on the island.
