Good hospitality on the quiet end of the island.

Posted May 2, 2014
Pros: It was welcoming and very careful to meet one's needs. The staff seemed to have more of a 'calling' to serve than a job to plod through.
Cons: Time for a new mattress? A little bit boat-shaped but we slept great.
Location: Best thing is that it's on the quiet end of the island. Close enough to Georgetown, Rum Point, the Botanical Gardens. Great, cheap places to eat.
We stayed just under a week in a two room suite. Staff were intelligent, helpful, and very pleasant. In a very real way we 'had the place to ourselves': the beach, the snorkeliing, etc.. It felt more like a neighborhood than a hotel. It was very relaxing. Good use was made of a full size, functional kitchen.

The hotel was "kept up" very well. room was reasonably clean. majority of staff helpful and friendly Food tasty. Just a few steps to the beach. offered trips such as to stingray city. beautiful sunrises. Quiet and oh so relaxing.

Nice hotel with a few hiccups

Great location on east end of Grand Cayman, perfect if you prefer to avoid overcrowded 7 mile beach scene. Rooms are spacious and clean, although bathrooms are cramped. Front-desk staff was friendly enough although there was a mix-up with our room that caused us some stress. Restaurant food is mediocre at best and the service was slow and horrible.

Good stay at the reef resort. Beach and snorkeling were very nice and rooms/amenities were decent.

Beds are horrid, but nice timeshare

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Privacy
Cons: They don't clean on Sunday (make that known when we check in). Replace mattresses.
Location: Far away from 7-mile beach & other tourist areas, which was a plus for us.
The beds are horribly uncomfortable, but otherwise, it's a nice timeshare.

Beautiful location

Great snorkling right off the beach - we saw a stingray, lots of fish (big and small), conchs, barracuda, tarpon .... Pools were warm and clean. Lots of pool toys were always nearby. Great family resort!!!

Very relaxing and right on the beach.

Pros: Reef, location. Very comfortable family location.
Location: There is a small grocery, liquor store, Italian restaurant and subway right across the street.
Great location. Quiet and just steps to the water. The snorkeling is really great directly out from resort! Nice friendly staff and concierge was very helpful! The kitchen was fully stocked too with a grill available on the beach.
