urine perfume

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: close to I 29 for quick escape or finding a better place
coffee pot in room had old coffee left in pot , old orange juice left in refrig. bath tub wouldn't drain , bed made bottom sheet, then blanket , then top sheet, then bed spread . Remade myself. Whole room smelled like old urine covered by perfume. How do you like fire works going off at 3 am ? NEVER stay there again. Only go there if destitute and desperate

Pros: Staff was friendly.
Cons: Improve the smell.
Looked sketchy and smelled of old smoke but room was clean. Staff friendly. Bed was a little hard but slept fine. Breakfast was very light.

Thought it would be better

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Price was ok
Cons: Cleaning of the room could be better.
Location: Nothing too close or walking distance.
Hotel is located in business section. About 10 minutes from shopping area and malls. We had thought it would be a nice hotel but is in need of freshening up. Carpets were also very dirty. (This could be because they had trouble with their housecleaning that day).

You get what you pay for, apparently.

Pros: The staff was friendly. The sheets were soft. It was cheap.
Cons: Overall attention to detail. Have a talk with the housekeeping staff.
Location: (Nearby is one word.) It's a short distance to shopping and restaurants.
The parking lot was full of potholes and big chunks of mud, presumably from construction vehicles belonging to guests. A new desk clerk was being trained in, so checking in took a while. When I got into my room, the garbage had not been removed. I removed the full bag and put it outside my room, where it stayed until after I left. The TV didn't work. The bed was really soft and bouncy, like it needed to be replaced. Happily I didn't spend any time in the room except to try to sleep, but with the paper thin walls I could hear everything happening outside my room.

dirty and smoky

Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: nothing
Cons: cleanliness,needs to be updated
Location: was okay not far from shopping
smoky room which was not clean, had leftover food in it, coffee pot smelled of urine, one bed was dirty had not been changed, mirrors were dirty, carpets had not been hoovered,no glasses or coffee cups in room. Desk told us just to make sure we booked in the main building. One of the workers in the evening was walking down the hall with a lit cigereratte, and the place was supposed to be non smoking. Will never stay there again.

Cons: Add protein to your breakfast offerings.
This hotel was a last minute choice in Grand Forks on a busy weekend. My experience there for two nights brought the rest I required each night. Not too noisy.

Pros: price
Cons: somewhat run down-- definately odorous.
Location: by the railroad tracks.
The bottom line is, "you get what you pay for". For 51 dollars, it was worth it but the next time I might be more tempted to spend the 80 - 90 dollars at a nicer place.
